"What do you mean she ran off?!"
Liu averted his gaze from the masked male and stood his ground, his arms crossed tightly over his chest. Masky was furious, that's for sure. But him getting angry wouldn't help the situation they're in. "I mean what I said. She..." Liu hesitated, "attacked me and ran off." he finished nonchalantly. Masky abruptly stood up from his bed. "You didn't even bother to follow her? God, you're such a fucking moron!" Masky barked, slipping his hand through his messy hair. Liu frowned. He didn't even bother to spit something out as a response before the whole ordeal would get too heated. "Does Toby know?" Masky suddenly asked. Liu paused before shaking his head, "I don't think so." Masky hummed and made his way out of his room, nodding his head towards the door for Liu to follow him. "Just follow my lead." Masky uttered as he made his way downstairs. He took the stairs down to the living room whilst Liu trails behind Masky. The two remaining Proxies were predictably in the living room, chattering about something that Masky wasn't there to pay attention to. He casually passed the two Proxies along with Liu, only to catch the attention of one of them. "Where are you going?" Of course it was none other than Hoodie. Masky paused in his tracks before glancing over his shoulder. "Going for a smoke. Liu will watch over me instead of you. Is that okay, Brian?" Masky bluntly replied in a bitter and sarcastic way. Hoodie eyes Masky before shifting his gaze to an unsure Liu. Toby, who sat besides Hoodie, crossed his arms behind his head, resting his back comfortably against the soft cushion of the couch. "Let him go, it's not like he g-got anything to lose." Toby teased in such a manner that made Masky's blood boil. He knew that twitching fuck was referring to (Y/n). Hoodie scoffed, shrugging his shoulders before waving his hand in a 'Go-Away' motion, "fine, fine. Go."
Masky didn't waste another second and immediately left out the door as Liu quickly followed after. Liu shut the door behind him before curiously asking Masky, "what are you planning?" Masky simply kept walking, not planning on stopping any time soon. "We're not going back until we find her."

"Yeah. Yeah, I will. Bye, Samantha!"
I smile, waving Sam goodbye before exiting the hospital. I had just finished spending some final quality time with Sam and Cici and finally decided to head home, considering I was free from any injuries. It might not be the safest place to be in, but at least it's a roof under my head. It was a bit of a struggle to walk back home, considering it was already late at night and my paranoia was up to the max. But I was quickly relieved once my old complex came into view. I had to ask a neighbor to let me in, you know, the one that couldn't care less if I disappeared or not. He let me in without hesitation, not even bothering to ask who I was and opened up the door for me to enter the complex. Just like old times, I took the elevator up to my floor and went over to my apartment door, which was surprisingly unlocked. I pushed the door open and enter my cozy space, shutting the door behind me before flickering on the lights. Everything still looked intact. Nothing seemed to be stolen and everything was left like it was. My house key was still on the small coffee table in the living room, my bedroom was still messy like before and my fridge was still full with expired foods. I sigh, heading towards my room and sitting down on my messy bed. I can't stay here. I know can't stay here. Someone will find me sooner or later. But if I can't stay here, where do I go? I don't have money, I don't have any friends to ask for help. I suppose I could ask Samantha, but with all the work she has, I wouldn't want to bother her with my situation. I decide to just stay a night here to clear my mind an think of a decent plan. I plop down on my bed, fluttering my eyes close before flipping onto my side. The night will end quickly, so I won't have to worry too much.

"She's been down there?!"
Masky stared down at the dark basement from the top of the stairs. His hands shook with both anger and terrible anxiety as he could only imagine what Toby could've done with (Y/n). They decided to check the cabin first in case she had come back to it, considering Liu knew she didn't want to leave in the first place. Unfortunately, there was no trace of her in here. They had to move on quickly. The more time they'd waste hanging around here, the more time they'd be losing. They hurried out of the little cabin and once again returned to the large woods. Masky's hands just wouldn't stay still as they walked. He fidgeted with his gloves, the zipper of his jacket, anything close to himself that he could touch. Liu took notice of his unusual behavior and decided to call him out on it, "what's up with you?" Masky looked over to the taller male and huffed. "I don't understand- why the fuck would she attack you? You're probably fucking with me." Masky dismissed Liu with a scoff, picking up his pace to be quicker. Liu paused his steps and pierced his glare through Masky's back. "Why would I lie about something like this?!" Liu immediately spat back. Masky stopped in his tracks and turned on his heels. "Oh, I don't know, maybe because you lie about every little thing? You know, just like how you lied about your girlfriend 'passing away' in front of (Y/n)." Masky snarled angrily. Liu was about to snap back but reluctantly kept his mouth shut and gazed down to the ground. "I didn't want to scare her." He uttered out almost regrettably. Masky scoffs once again and turns back around to continue on his way to find his beloved. Liu hesitantly followed after, deciding to stay silent for the rest of the trip. Not only did he not want to argue with Masky, but he mostly didn't want to be reminded of his past mistakes. He simply sighed, letting himself relax before clearing his mind. Just focus on finding (Y/n).
