Before going into bed, I made sure to lock my door. Apparently they managed to get in easily because I forgot to lock my door. I still felt shaken up because of what happened. Although, repeating Tim's soothing statements through my head made me feel a lot calmer. I felt my phone buzz on my nightstand, making me quickly grab it into my hands. A message? Oh, from Timothy!

'Sleep well, girlfriend.'

My face heats up, making me stuff my face into my pillow. He was saying that on purpose. Alright. Two can play at that game.

'You too, boyfriend. Sweet dreams~'

Masky grins at his phone, holding it above his face as he laid down in bed. Hoodie, who was on the other side of the room in his own bed, lifts himself up and supports himself by his elbow. "You've been smiling at your phone for hours. What are you doing?" Hoodie hisses, his voice sounding clearly drowsy. It was, what, 4 AM? "Nothing. Just seeing all the people I got rid of on the news." Masky lies, smiling as he typed another message into his phone. Hoodie narrows his eyes at Masky before plopping back down on his own bed. "Whatever. Go to sleep already." Hoodie murmurs tiredly. "Can you tw-two shut the f-fuck up?" Toby's voice groggily pipes in. Masky's phone buzzes again, making the two other Proxies groan.

I was rudely awoken by my alarm using its annoying beep to pull me out of dreamland. I aimlessly tried to shut my phone off, managing to do so in a few attempts. It's like 7 AM or so, which meant I only slept around 4 hours. I felt dead tired. Groaning tiredly, I drag myself off my bed, slinking off to the living room with my phone in my hands. I still had a few minutes for breakfast, so that's what I'm planning on doing. As I was about to open my fridge, my phone starts buzzing. I refrain myself from opening the fridge and check my phone instead. I got a message.

'Morning! Don't forget about our date.'

I chuckle. He sounds so excited for it.

'Of course I won't. See you in a few hours.'

The snow was heavy today. I had to struggle on my way to work. All the snow piled up on the ground kept slowing me down. I got into the building with a breath of relief as I removed my scarf and lifted my hood off my head. I fixed my hair a bit to look more presentable before unzipping my jacket. Which was the jacket that Tim had lent me. As usual, the receptionist greeted me with a smile. I was about to head on to the elevator, until the receptionist stopped me. "(Y/n), hold on," She called out, making me freeze in my tracks. The way she called for me, it felt as if I did something wrong. I bit the inside of my cheek and turned around, looking at the receptionist as innocently as possible. "Yes?" I asked as I walked back to the counter. She gave me a smile and began, "We hired someone new..." She trailed off, "...again." She cleared her throat before continuing, "I think you'd like to meet him." She grinned. Oh boy, here we go again. Internally screaming at the fact that it was probably some other stoner guy I had to show around, I patiently waited for him. "Right..." I mutter under my breath. "Emma has already shown him around, so don't worry about that. I just thought you'd like to meet him, since you're working on the same floor as him." She giggled before grabbing her phone on the counter. As usual, she called out for some guy called 'Dylan'. Boy oh boy, I sure can't wait to meet another person that will probably end up going missing either today or tomorrow. I tap my fingers on the counter as I patiently wait for Dylan. After barely a minute, I see a guy coming towards the counter from a corner. He looked well dressed, looked well built and just overall looked like someone who would work in some place fancy, not somewhere like this. That can't be the guy, can it? The male meets my gaze, making him flash me a pearly white smile. Now that he was closer, I could clearly see how he exactly looked like. He has neat jet black hair, which made his crystal blue eyes stand out. He had such a sharp jawline that could probably cut through a solid object. There's no way. No actual way that someone like him would apply to a job like this.
