"You absolute moron! I told you to kill her, didn't I?!"

Toby received a harsh smack on the back of his head, which in reality had no toll on him. Toby frowned due to the actions of his frowning masked friend as he rubbed the back of his head for no particular reason. "I was gonna do that! I-I have n-no idea how she got out!" Toby was quickly to retort with a reasonable comeback as he lifted up the chains from the ground, inspecting the cuffs. They're unlocked, but how?! The keys were pretty well hidden. Then again, it wasn't very smart to leave the keys in the same cabin the victim is locked in... Hoodie let out an audible sigh filled with annoyance as he paced around the empty basement. "Fucking Masky probably found her," Hoodie sneers, "that idiot is probably acting up at this moment, too." Hoodie pulled out a small, orange tinted bottle from his pocket that was filled with little capsules. Toby chuckles, shaking his head. "Oh, I don't think she's anywhere near M-Masky." he states confidently. Hoodie stuffs the pills back into his pockets before raising a brow. "Why do you sound so sure?" he questions. Toby shrugs his shoulders, the corners of his mouthguard noticeably raised up just a bit to signify that he was grinning. "Just a feeling." he releases another chuckle before making his way up the stairs to exit the basement. "I-If anything, she's probably back at her place. We should head there." Toby suggests, nodding his head to beckon his hooded partner. Hoodie sighs, crossing his arms before shaking his head. "And in this shitty weather too," he grumbles lowly to himself, "let's get it done with."

"Stop shaking so much, damn! You're making yourself look even more suspicious."

Masky gives Liu's shoulder a harsh shove in annoyance, practically ordering the taller male to follow his command. Liu hugged his own arms, walking through the cold, rainy night whilst shaking the entire time ever since he left the alleyway. The dried blood on his fingertips were slowly being washed off by the many droplets of rain from the sky. "I-I-" Liu stammers. He kept his gaze pinned to the ground as he walked. Not once did he even turn to glance at Masky. "I never meant to hurt her," Liu's voice came out softer than expected. "What?" Masky could barely hear Liu's words through the storm. Liu breathes in shakily, "I promised never to hurt anyone physically ever since the incident- a-and I don't know what happened." Liu looks down to his hands which still had traces of blood on them from the nurse. He shivers before quickly stuffing his hands into his pockets so he doesn't have to look at them. Masky rolled his eyes at his partner before letting out a sigh, "what happened, exactly?" he asks. Liu swallows thickly, looking off into the distance. "I-I don't know. I just remember feeling so angry and..." Liu's words trail off into silence as he seals his lips for a moment. He shuts his eyes, breathing deeply in and out. "She bumped into me. It- It was at the wrong time and at the wrong place." Liu opens his eyes, raising a hand to his face to wipe away the rain from his cheek with his already wet sleeve. "I remember stabbing her in the chest about ten times or more. I couldn't stop myself," Liu choked on his words, balling his hands into fists. His nails dug into the palms of his hands in a way to numb out his thoughts. "She kept struggling. Her eyes- God, her eyes looked at me like I was a monster." the tall male ran a hand through his hair. The silence from the masked man suddenly broke as he let out a rather rude snicker.

"You make it sound like such a bad thing." Masky lazily grins to himself. Liu blinked before stitching his brows together. "Our job is to kill. We serve our boss, Liu." Masky reminds him. A shiver runs along Liu's body. Right. The boss. "You didn't choose to serve a paranormal entity." Liu uttered out his point loud enough for Masky to hear. Masky paused in his tracks for a moment as Liu walked on ahead before noticing that the masked male was trailing behind, causing him to slow down. Masky's eyes were drawn down to his feet, staring intensely at the ground. "Masky-" Liu's voice seemed to bring his masked partner back to life as he suddenly tilted his head up. Masky sucked in a breath before catching up with his partner, softly uttering, "don't remind me." Liu simply stared at the man beside him for a few seconds before looking back up ahead. It would take a bit to reach (Y/n)'s apartment. They were pretty far away, now that they took note of it. Liu took another cautious glance towards Masky. His expression gave away the fact that he was deep in thought. Maybe he was thinking about (Y/n). Liu mentally shrugged before shifting his gaze forward again. In the far distance, he noticed a speck of dark orange in the darkness of the night. He paused his walking, squinting his eyes. He adjusted his eyes to focus on that little orange speck walking along the street in the distance with someone else besides him. "Shit-" Liu cursed, quickly launching forward to grab the back of Masky's collar to tug him back. Masky let out a sound of surprise, preparing himself to lash out at Liu. "Hoodie and Toby are around here." Liu quickly stated before Masky could get a word out. Masky looked over to Liu before following his gaze into the distance. His eyes completely snapped open before wriggling himself out of Liu's grasp. "Fuck- Toby probably realized (Y/n) escaped." Masky breathed out before quickly pulling Liu into a nearby alleyway, "They're after her- I know they are. Hurry this way, we'll make it to her place faster."
