It had been a few days since the party and Nancy had decided to give Steve a visit plus pick up some horror movie her brother wanted.

Nancy opened the door as her eyes landed on Robin and Steve arguing about something or other.
"You did not just say that" Robin loudly exclaimed, "all I'm saying it's it's over rated" Steve said shrugging.
The two quickly noticed that Nancy was staring at them and quieted down.
Robin walked off to stack more tapes with a bland expression.

"Hey nance what can I do for ya?" Steve inquired walking over to her, "I just wanted to drop in to say hi, plus I have to get my stupid brother a movie" Nancy replied her eyes glancing over the many movie titles stacked on the shelves. "Speaking of which" Nancy continued "would you like to come and watch a movie tonight? One of my friends will be there too" "uh sure! Can Robin come?".
Nancy really didn't know what to think about Robin at this point, "sure" she replied with a smile.

After grabbing the movie that her brother wanted Nancy left the store. Robin walked over to Steve, "what did she want?" Robin questioned
"just to get her brother a movie andddddd ask if we wanted to watch a movie with her and her friend tonight" Steve said cautiously. "What?? Why would she invite me?" Robin asked, her feelings about wheeler had been varying since the party.
"Well she didn't really.. I just asked if I could bring you" he trailed off "stevee why would you do that, you know she probably doesn't even want me there" Robin exclaimed bumping her head against one of the many shelves. "It will be fineeeee don't worry I'll be there" Steve answered a grin on his face. " ugh great".

After work Robin got dropped back at her house to get ready for the movie night. She took a shower and threw on a t-shirt, jeans and a jacket. She was staring at herself in the mirror trying to flatten her hair a bit when the phone started to ring, she puts it to her ear to find a familiar voice on the end. "Robin it's me," ahh it was steve.  "just wanted to call you because Nancy's friend canceled and I'm about to pick you up, OK BYE" and the line went silent.

Nancys friend had canceled?? Robin was dreading the awkwardness that was seeming to manifest itself by the second. Great, a movie night with her best friend and his ex. How perfect.

After about ten minutes Robin heard Steve pull Into the driveway and went outside to meet him. She yanked open the door and sat in the front seat, "ready for a night of fun" steve said wiggling his eyebrows at the girl. "Oh god don't ever say that again" Robin sneered rolling her eyes.

Throughout the car ride robin had begun to get more and more anxious, what if it was awkward? Would she have to talk to Nancy if Steve was in the bathroom? How was she supposed to face Nancy if the last time she had talked to the girl she was crying about her hopeless love life.

Robin let out a sigh while pondering what she would say to Nancy not realising that she was out of time as Steve turned off the engine. "Come on!" Steve called "hang on hang on jeez" Robin snapped back.

They rang the doorbell and after a few moments they both heard footsteps approaching the door. Nancy greeted them with a smile "hello! Welcome"

The three tried to pick a movie and everything went smoothly with minimal awkwardness.
After many protests from Steve the two girls decided to convince him to watch Friday the 13th, as both of them wanted to see Steve a little frightened. "PLEASEE" Robin belted "But- but" Steve stumbled running out of excuses, " are you scared?" Nancy said with a raised eyebrow. "Of course not! Fine we can watch it" Steve mumbled regretting it already. The two girls exchanged glances and smirked at each other.

Nancy went to the kitchen to get popcorn and left Steve and Robin sitting on the couch. "See? It's not as bad as you thought" Steve said while gently nudging Robin "okok it's actually kinda fun" Robin replied flashing him a grin.

Nancy came back with two bowls of popcorn the the three started to watch the movie.

After a lot of jump scares and screaming Steve excuses himself to go to the bathroom and the girls are left alone on the couch.
After a moment of silence Robin finally spoke up, "hey umm I'm sorry about the other night at the party" she starts "just a lot of things happened and-" she rambled until Nancy cuts her off "it's ok Robin" Nancy said with a reassuring smile.
Robin couldn't help but smile back, "did u see the look on Steve's face when the jump-scare happened?" Her smile quickly turning into a grin, "hahahahaha! He screamed like a little girl!" Nancy giggled.

Robin and Nancy laugh about Steve's reaction for a few more minutes until Steve comes back from the bathroom and over hears, "EHYY I HEARD THAT" comes a booming from the hallway. The two girls burst out in laughter their stomachs hurting, "I wasn't scared per-say I was just shivering" he states the girls continuing to laugh.

By the time the movie is over Nancy and Steve were both terrified while, surprisingly Robin was fine and teasing them both about their various squeals and jumps throughout the movie.

It was getting late so they started to pack up to leave, Nancy walked them to the door, "thanks for coming, that was really fun!" she exclaimed smiling "yes it was, we should do it again sometime,  just maybe stay away from horrors for a bit" Steve replied his eyes darting around the darkness.

Steve got into the car and turned on the engine, Robin turned to Nancy "maybe you aren't as bad as I thought" she winked.
