Robin was the first to wake up, laying in Nancys bed after the night at the party.
She glanced down at the sleeping girl, who was now resting her head on robins chest and her arm around her waist.
Oh my god she's so fucking adorable

Robins face instantly flushed bright red and shaking breaths left her nose.

Fuck fuck fuck, what if she remembers last night?
Or more importantly what if she doesn't?
Did Nancy really mean that?
No. She couldn't have. She was just drunk and didn't have control over what she was saying.

So as much as Robin wished it to be true she pushed those thoughts away, returning her mind back to the task at hand: not waking Nancy up.
Despite not wanting to leave the comfortable bed, Robin had work in a few hours and needed to get home.
She carefully and slowly took Nancys hand from around her waist and shifted her body from under the girl. She shimmed until she was out of the bed, and thinking she had succeeded she turned to gather her stuff before hearing a small sleepy voice ring out "Robin..?" Robin turned around looking at the girl that had spoke, she was half awake and had a pained look on her face. "Yeah?" Was what Robin replied with, "how... how did I get here?" Nancy said as Robin let out a chuckle, "you were drunk so Steve drove you and me to your house and you passed out" . Nancy let out a groan "fuck I'm so sorry Robin" Robin laughed again, "oh god it's all coming back to me now" Nancy added.

Robin's eyes narrowed as she stared at Nancy, wondering if her memory had been jogged to the things that she had said in the bathroom.
"Are you ok...?" Nancy spoke breaking robins sudden silence, "uh-yeah yeah sorry I was just... I don't know"Robin replied quickly almost breaking into a ramble right there but refraining herself.
Nancy's hands grabbed her own forehead and she winced "I think I have the worst hangover" she groaned covering her eyes with her hands.

Robin chuckled and walked downstairs to the kitchen filling a glass of water for Nancy before heading back up and giving it to the girl who was now massaging her temples trying to get rid of the raging headache she had. "Robin your a saint" she said seeing the glass of water in robins outstretched hand. "Haha far from it but thank you" Robin replied blushing slightly.

After about a minute in silence Nancy spoke up "Robin, did I uh... did I say anything last night?". Robin's cheeks flared up her whole face going red, "umm nope uh- I uh have to go- work!" She hastily muttered collecting her things from the floor. Nancy looked at her confused but didn't say anything as she watched Robin frantically search for her other shoe.
"Uh- nance need anything before I go?" She asked when she had gathered all of her things, "no-no I don't think so , but um-thank you Rob I really appreciate it" Nancy replied smiling at her. "No problem wheeler" robin said blowing her a kiss with the new found confidence she had mustered as she walked out.

This time it was Nancy's turn to go red, fawning over the kiss Robin had blown her.
Omg omg omg AHHHHH
She stuffed her red face into her pillow letting out a muffled scream.
Fuck. Robin had seen her drunk, oh god. She had probably embarrassed herself.

In that moment something seemed to shift in Nancys mind because all of the memories of the night before flooded back to her.

Shit. Shit shit fuck. I told robin.
Oh god, that's why she was acting so weird.
She obviously doesn't like me back I mean right? She didn't even say anything about it. She probably just didn't want it to be awkward, Oh god.
Why the fuck did I tell her?!

Robin hurried out of Nancys house walking back to hers and quickly having a shower and changing into more suitable clothes for work, a collared shirt, a tie and some gray cuffed pants messily thrown onto her body. She heard the honking of what she could only assume to be Steve coming to pick her up and grabbed her keys and shoes on the way out.

Steve waved looking smugly at the smiling Robin as she got into his car, "soo anything happen last night at wheeler's" he grinned "No dingus, I just took care of her" Robin replied rolling her eyes, "Oooooooooo" Steve chanted causing another eye roll from Robin.
"She may have ended up cuddling me..." Robin slowly stated looking over at the boy who's eyes light up hearing the statement.
"That's something!" Steve exclaimed grinning more. "Shut up dingus" Robin added looking away not wanting Steve to see the obvious blush on her face.

The two arrived at family video and started opening, Robin was on the counter today and Steve was on stacking.
It was a particularly slow Thursday, and they had only three people come in this morning, at this point in time there were no people in the store So Robin spoke up "Steve...I uh I have something to tell you about last night" "mhm?" Steve mumbled looking at the tapes in his hands until he looked over to Robin to see her anxiously biting her nails and looking at the floor, "Hey, what's up" Steve spoke again giving Robin his full attention now. "So.. at the party last night, nance sorta kinda- told me she liked me, like more than a friend I mean." Steve looked at her surprised but happy, "but... she was really drunk and- im not even sure that she ment it, I mean she was so drunk" Robin continued, "well that's good isn't it!" Steve exclaimed looking at robins still anxious face. "Yeah... but the problem is, she told me she doesn't remember anything from last night and I have no Idea if she's telling the truth...". Steve winced and looked back at her "Robin..., nance kinda has a lot of walls? She sometimes has a hard time sharing her feelings... and something I've learned is that sometimes drunk nancy is the most honest nancy."
Robin just stared at him before he added "so.. if she told you then, then there's a good chance that she feels the same way now."

Could that be it? Fuck omg.

"Robin?.. you there" Steve said waving a hand in front of robins blank stare, "shut it Harrington."
Robin snapped still lost in her own thoughts. "Do you really think she likes me back..?" Robin managed to gather up after she came back from the other world that was her mind. "Oh now you want me to speak?" Steve replied playfully, grinning at the girl who had a dead serious face on "answer the question Steve"Robin voiced giving him a cold look.  "There's only one way to tell" Steve shrugged returning to his task of stacking tapes.

Robin froze looking back at him "could you.." she started only to get cut off by Steve "just go" he laughed a grin spreading across his face. Robin took off her vest and ran out of the store saluting Steve as she left "wish me luck".

I'm gonna fucking need it
