Robin x Nancy // maybe we aren't that different

Chapter 19: a deal

They had made up. They had finally made up.

But before it could all go back to normal there was still something Nancy had to deal with, Jonathan.

So despite how much she wanted to spend her time with Robin she found herself walking up the faded stone path towards where the Byers where staying.

Hesitation lacing her actions, she knocked on the door. Johnathan answered with a sly grin painted across his face, " hello Nancy, made up your mind?". Just the smug tone of his voice made Nancy want to punch him but she knew better, she had to play along.

She let out a sigh, "yes Johnathan. What do you want?" The grin on his face widened and his eyes flashed with an emotion Nancy could only place as excitement.

She found herself seated in Johnathan Byers room, her leg bobbing up and down out of anxiety.
" you are going to help me." Johnathan stated, breaking the long silence that had settled. "Help do what exactly?" She answered back,
"help me get a girl."

What. The. Fuck.

When Johnathan had said she would be doing something for him this was just about the last thing she thought he would say.

I cant get him a girl! He is (to put it lightly) utterly repulsive!

"What?!"

"Ok there is no way I'm doing that!" Nancy exclaimed starting to walk out, forgetting what had dragged her here in the first place, "ah-uh uh, otherwise, I tell Robin what happened."

Her fists clenched and her palms began to sweat as she turned around slowly, "fine, what do you need me to do?"

The plan was 'simple' as Johnathan put it, all she needed to do was get him a girlfriend before he left back to California, but that was much harder than it seemed.

She returned to her own house and lay down not bothering to change, built up tears rolled down her face, how could she have let this happen?
