Tw: slight homophobia at the end and slurs (that I can use)

Nancy puckered her lips to apply her pink lipstick, dragging the pigmented stick along her plump lips. she smiled at herself in the small mirror placed on her desk.

She was going on a date. Just like every time She saw Robin she was anticipating every moment, her heart felt like it was almost beating out of her chest with the force and Speed that it was pumping.

She made her way to the door smiling to herself while doing so, she was locking up and so didn't see someone creep behind her.

"Where are you going with all that?" The harsh voice spoke, she turned around jumping slightly at the sound. Much to her surprise it was Johnathan. "Why are you here?" She scoffed still obviously mad at him for what happened on the previous few days. "I came to See you of course" he sneered giving her a grin that caused goosebumps to form on her soft skin, "well I'm on my way out so if you could just-" "on your way to see Steve?"  Johnathan cut her off and looked her up and down. "Jesus Christ" She muttered shaking her head, "I'm NOT dating Steve for fucks sake, and frankly even if I was it would give you no right to do what you did." She pushed passed him and began walking to her car before she turned around " and YES if your so damn desperate to know I AM going on a date, thank you very much." Without another word she got into the car and drove off taking deep breathes to remain her composure to make sure he didn't see how angry or fearful she really was.

Trying to put her awful encounter behind her, Nancy cleared her head and tried to focus on what was yet to come. Robin had planned a date with Nancy not quite knowing what they were going to do.

Now Nancy was stood in front of the door she knew to be Robins, she knocked and after a lot of rustling the door opened to a frazzled looking Robin. "Er-Hi!" Robin stammered slightly, "you look amazing-as always of course " she finished a goofy grin spread over her face, Nancy pulled Robin down to her level for an unexpected kiss. It only lasted for a moment but it was enough for Robin to get very flustered, "I-er-um" a flushed face Robin said, "you look amazing too Robs" Nance huskily whispered before returning to her innocent tone, "so where are we going?" " you'll just have to wait and see" Robin replied giving her a cheeky grin.

They both got into the car and began driving with Robin giving the directions. "Ok turn left here, aaaand there!"

When the two got out of the car Nancy immediately knew where they were, the smell of caramel apples and things of all sorts deep fried gave away the surprise, a funfair. "the fair!" Nancy exclaimed a twinkle in her eyes, "yeah, you always said you wanted to go so I figured-", before Robin could break out in a ramble, Nancy cut her off with a quick kiss making sure no one was watching. "It's perfect Robs".

The night was fun, filled with laughter and sweet glances to one another. The two found themselves at one of the many rigged games. Robin was trying desperately to win something to look good in front of Nancy but (much to her despair) failed and was ready to move on before Nancy decided to give it a try.

Her eyes narrowed and her brows furrowed as she concentrated on throwing the plastic ball into the fake clown's mouth.

Hot.
So fucking hot.

Robin's face was painted with a bright red expression as she watched as her girlfriend concentrate, a specific look in her eye. A look of determination.

With one flick of her wrist the ball flew out of Nancy's hand and straight into the clown's mouth. Robin just stood there in disbelief her mouth hanging slightly open as Nancy received her prize. She picked a white teddy bear with a crown holding a stuffed heart in its arms. "Whatcha staring at Buckley?" Nancy smugly grinned looking up at her, "n-nothing shutup..." "well when you stop moping... I won you a present!" Nancy held up the bear and Robin's face lit up completely forgetting about her previous loss. "Wait-really? You don't have to do that Nance" "of course! Plus I already have too many stuffed toys" Nancy handed the toy to Robin secretly admiring the gleam of happiness on her face.

"LETS GO ON THE FERRIS WHEEL" Robin practically yelled, dragging Nancy to the line. "I don't know that look pretty high..." a slight expression of worry creeped its way onto Nancy's face. "Are you scaredddd?" Robin sneered giving Nancy a smug look. "No of course not!" Nancy replied but Robin could see the worry on her face as they got into the seats.

She placed her hand on Nancy thigh and gave her a reassuring look, but Nancy was too busy focusing on the hand on her thigh to be scared anymore. "Hey are you ok? Your a bit red" Robin whispered into Nancy's ear, "uhh-yeah I'm fine" Nancy replied trying her hardest to remain a cool composter.

Robins touch did something to Nancy, it was all her mind could focus on while Robin rambled on and on.
"I personally feel like Madonna isn't that good but you know I don't blame people for liking her I mean she's pretty and all but the fuss about her music-" "Robin." Now the two where at the highest point of the Ferris wheel looking down at all the people who looked like ants and yet Robins hand he not left Nancy's thigh "Y-yeah?" Robin croaked a bit nervous since this was the first word Nancy had said upon entering the Ferris wheel. "Y-your um-hand" Nancy spoke her voice retreating into her throat as she glanced down at the hand on her thigh. "Oh um sorry" Robin went to move her hand but Nancy grabbed her arm making sure she didn't more, "no! I mean it's not a bad thing, actually I like it wait- no that sounded weird" Nancy was internally cringing at herself at this point, a Smug grin appeared on Robins face as she watched Nancy become more and more flustered, "wheeler you little flirt". Robin would have teased Nancy more but before she knew it her lips met Nancy's. The kiss was quick to make sure nobody saw it but both of them enjoyed it more than they let on, they left the ride with red faces and huge smiles, exchanging lovestruck glances.

The day went perfect and it ended with a kiss on the cheek from Nancy when she dropped Robin off at her house, "miss you already wheeler!" Robin blew a kiss from her door way, Nancy fake gagged but was blushing just thinking about it.

Robin watch as her girlfriend drove off caught in a lovestruck daze and a huge smile plastered on her face.

She went to close the door but an arm stopped it. Johnathan.

He forcefully pushed the door open so Robin could tell who it was, "uh-Johnathan? What are are doing here?" She whispered in an almost scared tone.
"You fuckin know why I'm here." The tone made her uncomfortably shift slightly, "W-what-I-" her lips formed unspoken words that she couldn't quite get out. "Nancy said she was going on a date today... so when she showed up at your house I was quite confused." Robin could already see where this conversation was headed and she wanted nothing more but to simply delete Johnathan from existence. "But, imagine my surprise when you, Robin Buckley, kissed her?" Johnathan was now leaning against the door frame tauntingly looking down at her. "I think You need to get your eyes checked" Robin replied moving to close the door.

This time Jonathan's foot was what stopped the door, his smug dementor turned sour and his eyebrows furrowed, "Now I don't know what is happening for between you and Nancy but I know for a fact that Nancy was not some dyke before you came along." Robin cringed at the word, sure she had heard it many times before but it never got easier.

Johnathan let out a sigh "I feel sorry for you, really. you were just the first person she saw after our break up. It's hard just being someone's rebound."

Rebound?

Robin could feel her world crashing down, her defensives coming down in the process, Johnathan noticed this a wicked smile growing on his face as he continued, "let's be real, how long do you think it will take for her to come crawling back to me?" He flashed her a smirk and left leaving Robin to her thoughts.

Ok this chapter is much better than the last. Be warned this isn't the last angsty chapter 😈
