Something is really off. Lisa hasn't called or texted me since the other day. I don't want to assume but there is a great chance she's upset because of Seulgi. So I wanted to talk to her and apologize properly. I have no idea if she's staying at her place or with her parents. I checked both and no trace of her. It's impossible that she would be at her grandpa's house. She hates staying there because it is such a huge house. I did try to ask Yeri but she had no clue as well. Is she running away again?

I spent my time doing some shopping to stop thinking about what is possibly wrong with my girlfriend. Is she mad about Seulgi? A repeated question that I can never drop the possibility. But I didn't do anything wrong. I just acted on it since Seulgi was my responsibility. I asked her to follow me into the woods. And things escalated so fast. No one asked for it. But I felt guilty about it. If I didn't ask her to talk to me maybe we could have avoided it. However, I wanted to blame her as well. If she didn't go to the camping site then I could have spent the weekend with my girlfriend. Argh it is just so frustrating but it already happened. So I was expecting Lisa to follow me to the hospital but she turned out to maybe forget about her promise and when I got back at the camping site Mum said she needed to head back.

While doing some shopping I accidentally bumped into Lisa's secretary at the mall. I don't get why she cannot talk to me directly. She was getting nervous when I just simply asked how she was doing.

"Attorney Bae, I well you know. Tsk, I am glad to meet you here."

"Same here. So how's everything going on at the office?"

"Oh, about Attorney Manoban, I think she stayed overnight at her office. I am actually here to buy her a toothbrush. I thought she went home the other day." She was obviously nervous. It made me curious why she would be acting that way around me.

"What? She's just there overnight? But today is Sunday?"

"It just occurred that the founder asked her to be back at the office because we had a very important client. The client asked to set an appointment to personally meet the staff and Attorney Manoban who will be taking the case. I believe she's reviewing all the files all night. I am not even sure if she's done already. I will have to gather more information and pass it to her tomorrow."

"Oh, you got to be kidding me. She resumed being a workaholic. This is really her. You know how much she wanted to wrap things out perfectly. Where's her toothbrush?" I wanted to scold Lisa for not taking good care of herself. She just recovered from an accident but there she goes again working like she needed to feed a bunch of kids.

"Here, Atty. Bae. I can really bring this myself. She said she didn't want to be disturbed but we are all worried about her health." Ms. Miyawaki was hesitating but gave the paper bag full of goodies anyway. My girlfriend is like a kid that has a sweet tooth. I wondered if she even had a decent meal.

"I'll take this to her. Does she need anything else?"

"I've got everything in there. Are you sure you'll drop by the office? You know she's not really minding people around when in work mode." She was worried knowing the outcome of my visit. It's known to everyone that Lisa ignores anyone when she's busy at work.

"Trust me, I can handle Atty. Lalisa Manoban. Alright, you take care."

"Oh, okay. Also, Atty. Bae," She paused.

"Yes, what is it?"

"She might listen to you. Could you tell her to eat on time?"

I smiled knowing there are other people that are genuinely concerned for my girlfriend. "Will do, Secretary Miyawaki."
