Chapter 36

LISA

We became clingier to each other. There were busy days but at the end of the day, we would find time to cuddle each other.

"Hyun..." It's 2 o'clock in the morning and I was awakened by my girlfriend's little snores. For the past few weeks. I woke up because of nightmares. I've been so restless even if I go to bed early. Joohyun had to deal with me every time I got woken up from a bad dream and would ask me if she could help. I would just tell her I was okay and we have to go back to sleep. We rarely talk because aside she would go home late from work and so am I whenever I have a session with Jennie. But we're both doing okay. It's enough whenever she's right beside me snuggling me. After knowing that Jennie is just providing me with professional help. She understands me more and the reason why I have to see Jennie more often. I still sense a little jealousy but she trusts me. I just wanted to be better for myself and for us. Sometimes I would think if this happened and I was dating someone else then there's a great chance my lover would dump me. No one would stay and have the patience like Joohyun has for me. I got so lucky that she never gave up on me and would still choose to love me despite my flaws. She has always been enough for me and whenever I felt she would join me in bed and hold me tight. It feels so reassuring. Day by day I am deeply falling for her and forget how scared I am to lose her at times. I could still picture her angelic sleeping face through the darkness of our room. And I just wanted to call her name over and over again but was afraid to wake her up. Last night was just so amazing. Whenever we get intimate it still makes me feel like it's the first time doing it with her. "Hyun..." I couldn't stop myself from smiling as I recalled how both of us ended up so exhausted. I gently touched the lamp on the bedside so I could see her face clearly. The view was really breathtaking.

"Hmmmm..." She stirred towards me. She looks like a stretching baby. "Baby, I'm still sore." She was pouting as she tried to keep her eyes close.

I chuckled. Maybe after we almost broke up a hard make love would just mend everything. It was like paying for those days we grew distant from each other. Last night was one of those nights that we got so wild. Maybe we just missed each other that much. But I didn't mean to have my girlfriend limping in the morning. She must be really tired of everything we did. I kissed her bare chest and pulled the blanket back to cover our naked bodies. "I love you, Joohyun."

"I know. And I love you too and your wild side in bed." She almost whispered, still eyes close.

"Can we do another round?" I shyly asked.

"No, baby. We have to rest. I am really worn out." She said this as she was gently rubbing her thumb on my chin. And tracing my jawline. She slowly opened her eyes to look at me straight.  "Why are you so addicting? I don't know the meaning of No and Yes anymore." She said with a tease and a lip bite. The way she looked at me made me melt instantly. I felt her leg snaked on mine as if I'd be going anywhere and she wouldn't let me move a muscle.

"I am simply irresistible, right?" I felt that she was staring at me with so much longing. That kind of stare that you couldn't fight back but feel a little shy. I would love to match her stare but I was getting all conscious and my heartbeat started to race like crazy due to how strikingly beautiful she is. I tried to conceal that I am really being all shy around Joohyun.

"Hmmm, the hard truth is YES. You know how to deal with me in anything. And looked how my body just reacts with you after asking for another round?" She pressed her body against mine and I could feel her nipples were both seeking for attention. Damn it my body temperature rose like I have a fever. I need to calm down and be in control of the situation. I am a top and will always be. I should be the one who initiates the first move, not her.

"Oh my yeah coming from someone who just firmly said no for another round a while ago but working such wonder underneath this blanket." I simply rolled my eyes regardless she would hate to see me do it in front of her.
