LISA
I've been very anxious because of the recent events. And I could barely get enough sleep. Given that my head is full of thoughts. Other times I kinda feel that I was neglecting my girlfriend. I've been in touch with a friend in France for a month. He said he could do something I asked from him but I also have to do my part. Aside from my special task also seeked help once again from another friend because there's something I badly want to do that I could not let Joohyun know until everything is set. We agreed to meet at the mall since we can only meet half-way. I was roaming around the mall while waiting for my friend to arrive.
I noticed someone has been tapping my shoulder. "Lisayah, you okay?" It was Sooyoung, the friend of mine who agreed to meet with me in broad daylight. It's risky to meet up in a crowded place but we don't have any choice. I need her to accompany me.
We hugged briefly and I pulled her somewhere with less crowd to fix her cap so she won't be recognized by the people. She's still a celebrity and very well known to everyone. It's important that we are being careful. "Hey, yeah, I'm fine. I was just lost with my own thoughts earlier. Shall we keep going?"
"Does she knows your whereabouts?" She asked worriedly. She values her friendship with Joohyun and I truly appreciate her sincerity.
"I did not tell her, of course. I still haven't responded to any of her messages. It's safe."
She paused and gave me a serious look. "She may figure it out sooner or later and we're dead once it happened." She was obviously being cautious. She worked hard to earn Joohyun's trust and the last thing she wanted to happen is to get into a fight with her.
"Sooyoung, trust me. She does not know anything. If this is something I could just discuss with her then I will probably let her know before anything else." I countered. I will defend you I promise. This will be on me.
"Look, this is not really a good idea. I'll have someone who can help you."
"What are you being afraid of? I could just tell her that it's all my fault and she shouldn't blame you. Come on, stop overthinking. We're good, Sooyoung." I convinced her.
From a distance we saw a familiar face waving at us. I gave Sooyoung a puzzled look. She gave me a peace sign. "Sorry, I just thought we need her." I clearly said that it should be the only two of us but she invited someone else.
"Fine, yeah we could use a little help from her." I don't think I am left with any choice. She already saw us and there's no way Sooyoung and I could pretend we didn't see her.
As we are getting closer, the two immediately chit-chat as if they haven't seen each other for a decade. "Omo, omo, omo." The new comer reacted. "What's with the heavy get up?" She laughed at Sooyoung's disguise outfit.
"It's Lisa's fault." She turned to me so I would explain it to Jennie.
"Oh, please, people are starting to recognize Sooyoung, let's keep moving." I tried to be subtle.
"Chill out, Lis." Jennie locked me on her arm like a professional wrestler. I was struggling to get away from her.
I took a deep breath, "Gosh, she's really a bad idea, Sooyoung." I complained.
"Are you kidding me? Jennie here is the exact person you needed for this job." Sooyoung explained and her lips were pointing at Jennie. At first I didn't get her. I thought she was asking me to check Jennie's fashion style. Then something clicked after that. "Do you get my point now?" Sooyoung chuckled. She really enjoyed seeing me like a dumb checking Jennie out.
I beamed my smile, "Oh, my goodness. You are my savior, Sooyoung." I gestured Jennie to extend her hand. She was puzzled with me but did it anyway. I held her hand and clasped with mine grinning. "It's perfect! Let's go."
