Third Person's POV

Jennie did not drink more than she can since she will be driving later. Unfortunately, Joy and Lisa were totally wasted, Lisa who really doesn't drink find the taste of the scotch really good, and Joy who could not tolerate her alcohol just let it slide for the night since she wanted to celebrate badly with Lisa. They combined different alcohol and tried them all. Her family was there so she was  not worried about anything, Jennie kept telling the two to drink moderately but failed to stop them,

"Okay, I am out I will have to go to work tomorrow. How about you Lisa?"

"She's fine. She will stay with me. Also, we had a deal. We will have to finish those." Joy sleepily pointed to the bottles on the table,

"Hey, you can drink those next time. It's getting late. Lisa's girlfriend must be looking for her."  Jennie was getting concerned already. She would like to offer Lisa a ride but she was not sure if it would be proper when Lisa has a girlfriend already. She still knows her boundary, though she didn't totally accept her defeat.

Joy cried like a baby, "She got a girlfriend?" Due to her drunkenness, she was not aware of her actions. And she was really upset that she just knew about it though she already did know about it prior.

"Gosh, Joy! That's what I've been telling you not to drink too much if you can't tolerate the alcohol. You are like a fool now. Of course, you knew about them. You idiot." Jennie reminded her friend.

"But I really like you Atty. Manoban. I want to ask you to be my girlfriend. Tell me who this girl is. I will seek her approval. Can we both date you?"

Lisa kept wiping Joy's face. "Stop crying. I don't like seeing you that way. Jennie, please help me." She was getting teary-eyed too.

"I am really outta here. Are you coming with me, Lisa? I will drop you home," Jennie offered.

"What about her? I can't leave her like this. We have to bring her with us."

"Hey, are you hearing yourself? Joy can go with her family. They are just in the other room. You must go to your girlfriend. For sure she is worried about you. Did you even tell her that you are out with us?" Jennie did her best to extend her patience. She was like explaining everything to the two adults who were acting like kids. Joy was dozing off already and was not really paying attention to her friends.

Lisa sulked in and checked her dead phone. There's no message. "She's not even looking for me." She sheepishly smiled as she tapped her phone.

Jennie took the phone. She was doubtful that Irene didn't even bother to check on her girlfriend's whereabouts. She may not personally know her but she could sense that Irene is the type of girlfriend who would guard her lover by all means. So she powered it on and the phone just lit up and then shut down again, "Great, how would you know, huh? Your phone's battery is already empty. Let's just charge your phone in my car. You are really in trouble. Get your things, Lisa."

"Okay," Lisa did as she was told then lifts Joy like a sack of rice. She made sure she did not forget anything.

"What are you doing? Put Joy down. She is not coming with us." Jennie strongly opposed the idea of bringing another drunk person with her. Lisa was giving her a headache already and adding Joy to the list wasn't an option.

"She's my responsibility, I work for her. What if that man comes after her again?" Lisa was really serious as she explained it to Jennie.

"Argh! Not you as well," Jennie was disappointed that she has to take care of the two drunken idiots. "You can leave her alone, she will be fine. I don't want to drop you off at your home and then go back here or drop her off at her place." She took a deep breath. She knew she was dealing with a drunk person. "We need to go to your place, Joy is going to be fine here. She's not your responsibility. She's not in any type of danger. Sung Jae can never harm her. So put her down, alright?" She tried to explain it so Lisa would understand.
