Third Person's POV

Lisa realized that in order to get back on her feet she would still need some help from other people. She couldn't do anything alone. She lives with Jennie and Joy like they were locals in Ulsan. It was evident that they were staying there for quite too long that their skins turned tan. Lisa didn't have any nightmares or panic attack eversince she let go of her past and learned to forgive herself.

She realized that it was beyond her control that Ten took that path. Or the killer's taking his own life. For anyone with suicidal thoughts, ending their lives could be their best option to set themselves free from whatever they are dealing with. She couldn't judge Ten's decision and she shouldn't blame herself. That's just how things go and she has to live her life without regrets.

"Sooyoung-ah, what do you want to watch tonight?" Lisa asked her friend.

"Let Jennie decide this time. She won the bet so it is right to let her choose the movie." Joy explained as she was doing pilates. She wanted to stay fit even though she was taking a break from the entertainment industry.

Jennie came to face them with an unreadable expression. "Is everything alright?" Lisa asked her. She noticed she was on her phone for over an hour and something was bothering her friend.

"We have to go back to Seoul." She said shortly.

"Did something happen?" Joy stopped whatever she was doing. She was stretching and took the bowl of pineapples. She fed Lisa first before herself. She then passed the bottle of water to Jennie since the latter's throat seemed to dry up and unable to tell them what's going on.

Jennie tried to deliver the news as light as possible. "Lisa's grandpa is in the hospital. I just heard it from Suho and it's not looking good." The Kim's businesses are somehow connected to the Manobans. This was the reason why Suho was worried about and called her. He didn't know what the future holds and if Manoban's successor would be as good as the patriarch.

Lisa felt a little deaf as if she didn't hear what Jennie just told her. Joy asked if she was fine to go back to the city.

"Let's go together. I have many things to tell him anyway."

They headed to the hospital and met Somi and the rest of the Manoban family. Lisa just passed them and immediately went inside to see her grandfather. Somi followed her inside.

"Pops, Lisa is here." Somi let their grandfather know that her cousin was finally there and the old dying man sorrowfully looked at his granddaughter. He reached for her hand and she took it to comfort him.

"Lisa?" His voice was weak and he was struggling to speak.

"I am here, Pops. I am sorry if it took me long to get here."

"Lisaaa..." Her grandfather cried after realizing it was really Lisa. "Forgive me, dear. Forgive your poor Pops for making everything difficult for you."

"Pops, don't stress yourself. I am okay now."

"No, I know you are having a hard time ever since Ten left and it was all my fault. I did my best to avoid the same mistake. I just find it hard to accept your choices."

"Don't worry, Pops. You succeeded. I distance myself from Joohyun because you will continue to harm her. I couldn't believe that you can really go to some extent that you would hire someone to hurt the person I truly love."

"Lisa, I never laid a finger on her. It wasn't my doing. How could I hurt someone knowing it would also hurt you?"

"You don't have to lie anymore, Pops."

"I was trying to separate you, yes. That's why I arranged her transfer to Andong. Other than that I did not do anything."

"Then how can you explain the accident when she was on her way to Andong? Someone tried to kill her in the flea market and made it look like a simple robbery. And this man didn't stop there. He tried to poison her and innocent people got involved. Lastly, he went far and attempted to kill her again when she was left alone inside the company vehicle. How can you tell me it was not your doing?" Lisa did her best to supress her emotions. She didn't want to yell at her grandfather.
