What Are The Odds

Anastasia
I am waiting on Mia because she is on bed rest after a scare at her job. She fell during one of her many trips to her restaurant to check in on them. Christian helped her to hire very excellent staff to run her restaurant and her catering business so she could take it easy. She failed to slow down and she is laying in our guest room so we can make sure she goes nowhere near her businesses until she is allowed to go back to work. She has a month to go until the baby is born. Teddy is watching her closely and he frowned at her when she tried to sneak out. He ordered her back to bed. I heard him and went to find that she was getting back in bed. I laughed and told her he wants that baby cousin badly and hopes for a boy. Either way he will make sure you have that baby safely.
Mia
Now I have my five year old nephew assuring I stay in bed and actually ordered me to go back to bed when he caught me getting dressed. A miniature Christian and Anastasia combined is what we have here. His sisters are like his little army and don't get me started on Angel telling her father on me. Too bad she learned to talk early. She watches me and pats her baby sister or brother. She wants a girl do she can overthrow the Teddy government lol. I am not going to w8n this battle, it is bad enough adults are ordering me around but children too.
Ethan
I walk into our home away from home and Angel gives me the mommy report. I pick her up and she informs me that mommy tried to escape today. I walk in our room and Mia looks guilty and I know why. I shake my head at her and tell her it won't be long until the baby is born and she will be able to get around more. Angel smiles at me and says that is what grandma tells mommy as well.
Christian
I walk in and three short people attack my legs. I grin and try to pick all three of them up and they all hug me around my neck and I finally have a good hold on all my little seedlings. I walk into Anastasia's office carrying them and sit down with them finding a place on my lap to sit. I hug and kiss each of them and tell them I love them. Anastasia is busy typing away and knows we are here but trying to concentrate on her screen and she finally stops typing and her printer starts rattling off pages and she says hi to all of us.
Anastasia
Well I just finished my book and sent it to editing, so I am ready to eat dinner. I guess you know your sister tried to escape her bed again?
Christian
I haven't heard yet, but I don't doubt it for a minute. I guess these three stopped her from leaving.
Anastasia
Yes the triple threat stopped her from leaving her room and made her get back in bed. Glad I am not bed ridden. I might be allowed to use the restroom and possibly shower. I could do my work at home. Unlike Mia. Barney thought that they could set up something but her doctor said the stress would still affect her. Angel ratted her out though. I just heard Teddy telling her to get back in bed. I know it is disrespectful of him, but it comes from his concern for her and the baby.
Christian
That is true but maybe we need to talk to him about boundaries when to cross them and when not to. I will talk to him later about it and you can back me up about this. I can't have our children bossing adults around. We head into the kitchen to see about the kids and dinner. They got bored with us chatting so they had slipped out to play with their toys just after she closed her laptop. They don't like adult talk for the most part. Unless it is about new family members. Or something they find fun.
Ethan
I help Mia up for dinner and Angel comes right behind us. We have a great meal with Anastasia and Christian. I know they would like to have their home back, but they know Mia needs to be watched closely at this point. They volunteered to have her here and watch over her.
Mia
I eat a good meal and want company so we join everyone in the living room as the children play a few games and watches one thing on Disney. They get along so well, I hope this gets along with them as well. I am feeling exhausted so I have Ethan take me to our bedroom. I get ready for bed and go to sleep immediately.
Ethan
I leave after Mia has fell asleep.
The next morning I leave for work after Christian has left. Anastasia has the children eating in the kitchen as she cooks them a nice breakfast. Her staff are always friendly, but I think they want to do their jobs instead she is doing them.
Mia
Angel came in to get a kiss and a hug from me. We play a moment and she goes to watch dvd's with the other three children. I get up and just make it to the bathroom. when something gushes between my legs and I hit the floor. I hear Teddy and he is looking at me and says aunt Mia you are bleeding, he grabs towels and cleans up and he hears something and sees something under my gown. He raises it up and very gently picks it up. He hands the baby to me and tells me to be calm and he dials 911 and tells them about my baby boy. He says I am going to get David and Sawyer. I will send them in and get mommy and then call grandma. I will call uncle Ethan too. He runs out as I wipe my baby off and clear his air passages, when I feel a sharp pain again. I feel a gush again and hear squealing and try to get the other baby. Suddenly David is at the door and he has something in his hands. They get the other baby up and clean him off as the EMT's arrive to help out. They take the babies and cut the cords and clean everything they can off them and clear their air passages. I hear Teddy say mommy she has two babies now.
Anastasia
Yes she does you did good Teddy now let's give them room to work. Teddy really kept calm and got us after calling 911 and then Ethan and Grace. Then he got David and Sawyer and finally told me. I am glad he got me last. A very good move on his part. I am so proud of him. There go the towels oh well they can be replaced Mia and her babies can't be.
