I have decided to micro manage the publishing until I know this will never happen again. I hired Kate to review books and tell me if Morgan published crap books because he was indeed getting sexual favors. I am looking into whether the women that he published and paid actually were worthy of being published. I then realized that they were paid but they never submitted a book at all. They could barely read in some cases and he actually tried using the names of well know authors to pay them for books they never wrote. We ran an audit as well he had hidden accounts. I then asked Barney to check on anything and everything that looked amiss at Grey publishing and found out it was not just Morgan that we needed to replace. He had to have help doing this. Within a week we found three people who helped him push through the payments to make it look like the authors had been paid for their books but the actual authors never got the money, but Morgan and his thre co conspirators were having audits from us and the IRS. Warrants for everything they owned and we got the money back after we auctioned off their properties and they are now serving time. I hired the forensic auditors once again but this time for the whole company. We announced that we will be doing an audit of all departments and each branch and location and each country. The forensic auditors were more than happy to travel to do the work. Now we have to show that my wife and daughters never received the monies for their books in the last two years. I also found out they made sure that the books weren't released in Washington state. I decided to promote three people from Grey House to monitor Grey Publishing. They will be on the place like white in rice. They are basically my spies. Well paid spies albeit.
Donald Morgan, Ashley Demerist, Todd Piersaw and Lewis Rogers were all arrested and found guilty of all the charges against them. We got most of the money back from the accounts they deposited the checks into. What I didn't know was dad was investigating the fact that checks stopped being sent for him to deposit into the trust funds and Anastasia wasn't getting paid for books she knew was being sold elsewhere. My wife was investigating it as well. She was mad about the text he sent in a regular basis. Then he started in in Ella and Daisy. I blocked his text message from reaching my family.
Three months later we have gotten all the audits done and there have been a lot of terminations and hiring and we now have hired and promoted a lot of people. People have went to jail and fired. We started a three person management team at each company that we own. Roz and I decided to hire a team of financial experts to check all transactions no matter what. Barney has created a system of checks and balances that we found out will notify us of any questionable charges and payouts. We have found a few that just made a mistake. We were made sure it was just an accounting error. We got all the authors paid what was due them and dad put the girls money in their trusts. We explained it all to the girls and told them to always let us know if they get texts like the ones Morgan sent to them.
Ella
Dad told me and Daisy what was going on and he got it straightened out and my money was going into our trust. We were getting a hundred dollars in an account that we can have access to as needed. We rarely needed it so it kept accruing interest.
Daisy
I am glad that my books are in the shelves in Washington state again. Our accounts were retroactively filled with the money they owed us all along.
Teddy
I helped Ella and Daisy invest in very profitable business opportunities. Dad and I went over all of it and I even helped Brad invest his allowance and his parents invested as well. I finally got my first college degree at sixteen. Sawyer found me a security person who trained me how to drive defensively. I am going after several degrees and one made Grandpa very happy. I will be attending Harvard when I turn 18. Mom is sad about it. But knows it was going to happen.
She and dad have decided to adopt which after her losing the last two babies because of endometriosis, they suggested she not try again. I heard just the backend of the conversation.
Mom got a call about a two year old boy Charlie Brown of all names to give a child. He is an orphan and has never been treated well, so he is scared of everyone. He clings to mom and dad so we really haven't bonded yet.
Ella
Charlie came into my room tonight and pointed at my favorite stuffed animal. I take it from it's shelf and offer it to Charlie. He grabs it and runs off with it. At dinner he is still clutching it. He smiles and touches my hand like he is thanking me for the stuffed dog. I smile and tell him he is welcome and I gave it to him to sleep with. It kept me safe at night and it will keep him safe too.
Daisy
He Charlie took my stuffed monkey the next day. I had outgrown it and he needs it more than I do.
Teddy
I just handed Charlie my Teddy bear and he hugged me and said thank you. He took it. And put it in his shelf along with the dog and the monkey.
Anastasia
Charlie has been a blessing and he has became a big part of the family the adoption had became vert tricky. The mother had a brother who had not wanted him until he thought he could get cash for him. He tried to sell his own nephew to us for a million dollars. We wouldn't do it and he refused to sign off on the adoption. The guy was arrested after he injured Charlie. We were finally able to adopt him after a year of battling for him. We got lucky with Charlie and we decided to adopt again. This encouraged Mia, Ethan, Elliott and Kate to adopt as well.
Teddy
We have three more babies arriving soon. A very pregnant 14 year old mother is giving up her triplets for adoption. She was a victim of a gang rape. Nina Louise Samuels was attacked in her school bathroom. She is a very beautiful girl. She has a few battle scars from fighting them off until they knocked her out. I met her when we went to the hospital to see her. I think mom thinks she needs to see that her babies will be in good hands with my mom and dad so we all met her even Charlie. She turns 15 and mom wants to get her sone things for her birthday. She wants to place her in private school so she will get the education she deserves and feel safe getting it. Her parents have basically abandoned her. Mom and dad have taken custody of her. Kate has asked if she could be adopted. Elliott was a bit worried at first, but he met her and there were many conversations about her being adopted.
Kate
Elliott and I have asked to adopt Nina and there were some hesitations on her mother and fathers part, but they asked Nina if she wanted to be adopted and she spoke in private to them and it very upsetting to them but apparently the boys who raped her threatened to keep raping her as often as they wished to. They only got a years probation for first time offenders, something tells me that's a huge lie, because they were too organized for it to be.
