When I enter the school I feel like the weight of angry looks is going to crush me. I can feel the seething glares I receive from Natalie and Thomas, who stand by Natalie's locker. I don't even look over to where they stand, I just head on and try to ignore their scorching looks.

I head over to my locker and punch in the code. My movements are a little too aggressive, but it's almost understandable. Nobody has my back, because I hurt Mackenzie. It was all just a misunderstanding and I can only hope she lets me explain myself. I hope she reads the note I left her.

I was at fault as well. I reacted harshly just because I wanted to push her away. It would've been easier for her if she would hate me. What if I die with my stupid plan?

My figure jolts when I feel a hand grip my shoulder in a tight grip. I spin around, ready to punch whoever just grabbed me, only to see Jason standing in front of me. I release my fist when I meet his dark brown eyes.

"Don't scare me like that." I warn him, noticing how the younger werewolf rolls his eyes at me. "Sorry, gramps. Didn't want to make you shit your pants." He remarks, which makes a scowl form on my face. I really don't have the nerves to handle his shitty attitude right now.

I look back to my locker and start gathering my books for my classes today.

"I need your help." Jason announces, which makes me only press my lips in a thin line. I almost forgot he starts school today. Which only means Ryker starts school as well. Great. Another person who is going to glare at me for the whole day.

"With what?" I question, as I close the door of my locker. I turn to Jason and he only hands me a paper he was holding in his hand before. I take it and glance down on it only to see it's his timetable. "I don't know the school and I have no clue where these classes are." He tells me and I can pick on the annoyance in his voice. My eyes dance over his classes that are listed for today, before I look up to him.

"Your first class is right next to mine." I inform him and hand him back the timetable. Jason scowls a little, glancing down at his subjects with a seething glare. He really does hate being here. I don't blame him, the school is practically a hellhole.

"Follow me." I instruct him and head down the hallway with my books in my hand. Jason catches up to my quick pace, his dark eyebrows furrowing at me when he casts me a glance. I try to ignore his look, but I can already assume what's going to come next.

"I heard you and Mack were in a fight last night." His voice is hushed now, like he'd be trying to keep our conversation low from everybody around us. I don't know if Mackenzie told him that Beacon Hills High loves drama or did he just figure it out himself, but I'm grateful he's keeping it down.

"It was a misunderstanding." I mumble, frowning at the memory of yesterday. I can still see her horrified face when she thought I was cheating on her. It physically pains me to realize that she thought I'd ever be capable of doing that to her. I'd rather throw myself into a fire than cheat on her. She's too amazing. She's too beautiful and smart. I'm enchanted by her. And I could never do that to her.

"How the hell do you know about this again?" I blurt out, glancing to Jason, who is walking beside me. The male shrugs a little. "Let's just say I'm a satellite for drama." Is the only thing he says, which makes me grunt in annoyance.

While we're walking down the hallway I notice Charlotte heading our way. She looks pleased with herself, her eyes glimmering as they look at me. I curse under my breath, which brings Jason's attention to the girl I'm staring at.

"Well, look who I found wondering alone." Charlie chuckles, which makes me scrunch my nose. Jason glances over to me with a questioning look, but I couldn't explain to him that this girl is Mackenzie's biggest enemy on this school. "Where's your little shadow?" Charlie smirks when she asks me that. Everyone knows that me and Kenzie are practically inseparable in school. We stick together as much as possible, even when she's trying to push me away.
