When I wake up the sun is already setting. The room is washed in reds and oranges and the clock on the wall shows it is something past six.

I glance up to my mate that is still sleeping soundly. The mark on the juncture of his shoulder and neck is completely healed already, but it is still very visible. It looks like an old scar.

I crawl from under his arm and carefully climb over him off the bed. My cheeks heat up when I realize I'm completely naked. I turn around to find something to put on, grabbing my panties from the floor and a shirt from my chair. Before I could put my shirt on, I notice his mark on my skin. It's red and looks almost fresh. It doesn't look anything like Elliot's.

He lets out a deep breath, which makes me freeze. I glance over my shoulder at him to make sure he is still asleep.

I try to find some pants to put on before I creep out of my room and let him rest on. My movement is slow and calculated, not only because I'm making sure I don't wake my mate up, but because my body feels sore and tired. I can barely walk normally.

I close the door behind me carefully, making sure it doesn't make any sound. I feel like I can finally breathe, the second I get onto the hall. A loud sigh tumbles out of me and I run a hand through my hair.

Me and Elliot... had sex. I still don't think I can believe it.

I quietly walk down the hallway to the stairs only to hear voices coming from the living room. I halt on top of the stairs and strain my ears to hear who's downstairs. My newfound powers come in handy when I hear five hearts beating and from the sound of the voices talking, I believe there are only girls downstairs.

I head down the stairs, announcing my presence with my footsteps. Everything quiets down in the living room until I show myself in between the doorway.

"Oh, it's just Mack." Natalie sighs from relief when she sees me. I raise an eyebrow at her words, glancing around the living room. Samantha and Norrie share one sofa, while Rebecca and Maddison share the other. Nat is in one of the armchairs.

"Just the girl we've been waiting for. Get in here." Samantha beckons for me to come closer, which only makes my confusion grow. "What's going on?" I question, as I sit down in the other armchair.

"We are going out." Natalie declares. I tilt my head to the side a little, trying to figure out if she is joking or not. "Without the boys knowing, obviously." Samantha quickly adds. I press my lips in a thin line and glance over to see the other Morrison sister equally worried about the idea.

"Isn't it... a little bit dangerous?" I ask, scratching the side of my head in discomfort. Rebecca shrugs her shoulders slightly. "It is... but if we keep it low and stick together we might make it out alive." The way she says 'might' makes the corners of my lips turn down.

"Oh, c'mon guys! It's Halloween! We need to go out and have some fun." Natalie practically jumps out of her seat and throws her hands in the air. "I don't know..." I trail off, glancing away from all of them.

"I understand if you don't feel safe going out, Mack. But if we stick together we can protect each other." Samantha tells me, making me glance back at her. She gives me a hopeful look, clasping her hands together in a pleading manner. "Plus, this is the last day that we can have fun. Who knows what's going to happen tomorrow." She adds.

"Sam's got a point. If you want to execute your plan with Elliot, this is our last chance for fun." Rebecca mumbles. The other girls perk up hearing that I have a plan with Elliot.

"What plan?" Maddison finally speaks up, lifting her head up from her knees. She is been hugging them ever since I came into the living room. I don't know what's wrong with her, but she looks scared and nervous. Something must have happened while me and Elliot were held captive.
