"Wait, let's take a step back. We are all in danger and now we have to work together?" Paul lifts his hands up to bring more attention on himself. I step from behind Elliot, looking at my human friend. "You guys don't have to do anything." I state, crossing my arms over my chest.

"But we do?" Tyler barks. He is seething with rage. It's almost impossible to clear my thoughts with the way all of them keep on talking. I sigh through my nose and shake my head a little.

Breathe, Mackenzie. Just breathe and calm down.

"Nobody has to do anything if they don't want to." Natalie suddenly speaks up, untangling herself from Thomas's arms. She walks over to where me and Elliot stand and puts a soft hand on my shoulder. I glance over to her when she gives me a light squeeze and I notice the way she smiles at me. I return the smile.

"But what is all of this danger we're talking about?" Norrie furrows her eyebrows. Worry is lining her face, as she leans back against her Hyundai. Maddison steps forward to where Rebecca stands and clears her throat. It brings the attention on her now, all of the werewolves and humans looking to the petite girl.

"I suggest we all keep quiet until Mackenzie and Elliot explain themselves. When they explain the whole plan, that's when we can express our opinion." She suggests, glancing over the Polaris pack. Tyler huffs loudly, wanting to already start another fit, but his mate stops him. Samantha grabs his forearm, making my older brother look to her. She shakes her head, silently telling him to keep quiet. Tyler bares his teeth together, but stays quiet.

I glance over to Maddison, noticing how she nods to me, telling me to continue our explanation. Another squeeze from Natalie's hand makes breathe in deeply, before I gather the courage. It surprises me that Elliot beats me to the explanation.

"When the Midnight pack was still in Canada... we weren't as careful about hiding our werewolf identities as we should have been. And we lost our territory, that's why we came back here." He pauses and I notice the way he clenches his hands into fists. When I look back to my own pack, I see Samantha shaking her head. She already knows what he is going to say. "We lost it to hunters, because we weren't careful enough. And now, the hunters followed us to Beacon Hills."

There is silence. Like Maddison suggested everyone stays quiet, but the shock on their faces still appears. Jason shakes his head, anger flashing in his eyes. Ryker presses his lips in a thin line and looks to the ground. Tyler growls silently, glaring at my mate. The two humans look confused, sharing a strange look with each other.

"We were coming up with a plan last night. Me, Elliot, Thomas and Natalie. How to save us all from actually getting killed by the hunters. We don't... we don't need a repeat of three years ago." I swallow harshly, the lump in my throat making it hard to breathe. I feel Elliot's hand reaching out for me, his fingers brushing against the back of my hand. I open my hand and take his in my own, accepting the comfort.

"And we came up with a plan, but I have to tell you all, that this is... a dangerous plan. And all of you have a choice." I look over my shoulder to Rebecca, Maddison and Max. They all listen carefully, waiting for what I have to say to them. "So if you don't want to participate in it, we will understand. And we won't force you to." I explain, nodding my head a little.

"And this goes for all of you. Make sure everybody knows this." Elliot adds, turning to look at the three Midnight pack members. Rebecca nods, a serious expression adorning her face. They came here to represent the rebelling werewolves in the Midnight pack. They will bring the plan to the werewolves after we are done here and then one of them is going to tell us how many of the wolves decided to help us.
