A month later

Me: hey reí come on let's go somewhere

Juuzou: where?

Me: you'll see

I had received an invitation to kaneki a wedding with touka. Touka and kaneki invited me apparently through Nishiki. They trust me.

I asked if I could bring Rei. They said yes if he agreed not to fight. As long as I ask him not to kill anyone he most likely will especially if it's important to me.

We walk to this lonely forest, barely any humans would dare to enter especially at night.

Rei: are you going to try to murder me?

Me: hahahahaahhaah noooo we're going to kanekis wedding

Rei: what!?!?

Me: yep! They invited me as long as we don't kill anyone

Rei: okayyyy don't you think it's a trap

Me: nahhh dont worry we're almost there

Rei: wait did you get them something?

Me: yep didn't you notice this bag a have dummy

Rei: okay okay

I start to hear noises, I can't tell if it's the wind blowing in the night or if it's foreign voices.  I follow the map and it leads me to a crowd of people.  Rei furrow his brows looking for kaneki while I look for Nishiki. 

Me: spot him

Rei: kaneki?

Me: nope Nishiki let's go!

Rei: okay

Me: hi

Nishiki: oh your here

Me: you told me to come idiot

Nishiki: haha

Me: so where's kaneki and touka

Nishiki points to where they are.  I spot to bodies, one with white hair and that's how I know it's kaneki.  The clothes that layer on their bodies looked so beautiful. 

Me: hey guys! Congratulations!!!

Kaneki: y/n? Juuzou?

Me: yep you didn't think your awesome ex partner was gonna miss this did ya haha

Touka: ex partner?

Kaneki: yea she was my work partner at CCG

Touka: ahhh I've seen you before

Me: yep back before the attack

Touka: thanks, Nishiki asked if you could come

Rei: hey kaneki and touka congratulations I'm happy for you guys

He said quietly almost as if he was sad.

Kaneki: thank you Juuzou and sorry for stabbing you

Rei: it's okay I'm all better now

Touka: hey there's some cake would you guys like some

Me: oooo yesss

Kaneki: right this way

Rei and I follow kaneki to the table.  He hands both of us some cake.

Me: so kaneki how's life treating you?

Kaneki: good.  I miss the Quinx squad but I can't go back

Me: they aren't even a squad anymore they all got separated or atleast most of them but they are good.

Rei: yea urie is in suzuya squad

Kaneki: oh how is he

Rei: he was hard to handle at first but now he's pretty... fine

Kaneki: good to hear that

Me: come on let's go danceeeeeee

Hours later

Rei and I ended up leaving around 2 am, I was a bit tipsy since I was drinking and Rei had only barely drunk.  The taste of alcohol amuses me and the lightheaded feeling I get is nice.

Rei: we should get married

Me: we should hahevsie

Rei: *gets on his knee*

Me: wait

Rei: Hikari will you marry me

Me: holy shit of courseeee!

The black haired boy gets up and presses his lips against mine.  He takes a round metal shaped object and puts it on my finger.  It was a beautiful ring.  The band was thick and it had a red jewel on it.  On the inside it has writing. 

Me: I love you Rei

Rei: I love you y/n-Chan so much
