High school AU part 2

A/N: As requested by a commenter, here's part two to the high school AU. I'm enjoying writing these so I might write more parts if you guys are interested, so if you want a third part, leave a comment :D

Touya was a bit nervous about going to school. The day before had been great, he had finally told you how he felt about you, and you had reciprocated his feelings.

Touya was standing in front of his mirror that he had in his room, and just staring at himself. Should he put on the tie he was supposed to wear with his school uniform? No, why would he do that, he never wore it.

"Aaaargh!" he growled in frustration.

"Touya, you're going to be late for school" his mother yelled. "And Keigo is here already" she added.

"Yeah yeah, I'm going!" Touya shouted and hurried to put his shoes on and out the door.

Keigo was waiting for him at the gate and the two walked to school together.

"Dude, you're always so last minute with everything" Keigo rolled his eyes.

"Shut up birdbrain, we still have fifteen minutes to get to school"

"Yeah, but we were supposed to walk by (Last name)'s so they could walk with us as well, but now we don't have time"

"Fuck, I totally forgot" Touya said and slammed his palm to his forehead.

"Don't worry, I already texted them and they walked on their own. When the two of you start dating, you're gonna have to be more punctual"

"I'm always on time, I'm just never early. That's way different from being late" Touya rolled his eyes.

He hadn't told Keigo about what had happened with you the day before, but he seemed to have an inkling that something was going on.

Touya and Keigo got to school just in time, you had been starting to worry that they would be late. You waved at them from your seat, but the class was just about to start, so you didn't have time to talk.

You tried your best to concentrate on the math class that was going on, but you couldn't help but keep glancing at Touya. He smirked at you every time he caught you looking, and you smiled back at him.

Keigo knew something had happened after he'd seen the two of you leave school the day before, and if he knew anything about his friend, that grin on his face told Keigo he was happy about something, really happy.

When the first break came around, marched straight to Touya's desk. When you actually got there and were close to him, you realized you had no idea what you wanted to say or do.

"Hey" Touya said as you just stood there, looking at your feet.

"Hi" you yelped, louder than you meant to.

Touya and you just kept looking at each other and grinning like dorks, neither of you really knowing what to say.

"You two finally talked, huh" Keigo broke the silence after looking at each of you for a while.

"I wouldn't really say that we talked" Touya said.

"That makes it sound like we made out or something" you whispered awkwardly.

"You didn't?" Keigo asked with a mischievous smirk.

"Shut the hell up birdbrain" Touya hissed.

"Oh come on, let me savor this. I've been waiting for you two dumbasses to get together for forever" Keigo emphasized the last word dramatically.

You chuckled, and Touya scoffed at his friend's comment, but he didn't seem to be taking it badly either.

The break between the first two classes was short and the next two classes would be back to back, since that's what the class had agreed to with the teacher, so you could all have a longer lunch break. So the next time you got to talk with the two guys would be at lunch.

When the lunch break came you made your way to the two charming idiots that were waiting for you outside the classroom.

You were walking next to Touya and he just wanted to hold your hand. He wasn't even really focusing on the conversation that you and Keigo had going on, because he was so focused on wondering if he should just grab your hand.

"Todoroki? Did you hear what I asked?" you asked, which pulled him out of his thoughts.

"Hmm, what?" he said, a bit confused, since he hadn't been paying attention to the conversation that had been going on.

"I-I asked if it was okay if I called you Touya. It's totally fine if you don't want me to yet-"

"Yes!" he blurted out.

You smiled so widely at him and you looked so cute he had to turn his face away, because he was definitely blushing.

"You can call me (Name) too of course" you smiled at him.

"(Name)" Touya whispered.

"All right you lovebirds. I've actually got a student council meeting I totally forgot about, but I'm sure you two can manage to find the cafeteria without me" Keigo said as he pushed between the two of you and draped his arms on each of your shoulders for a moment.

"I'm damn surprised they haven't booted you out of the student council yet, you're never on time" Touya rolled his eyes and shook off his friend's arm.

"I'm too charming and dashing for them to get rid of me over something like that" Keigo flashed you two a smile and basically ran down the hallway past you.

"I don't know how he manages everything he's got going on. I can barely manage school and my two hobbies" you sighed and shook your head.

"Yeah, I don't get it either" Touya said.

You were both just staring after Keigo, until he disappeared down the stairs. Touya decided to finally just grab your hand. You looked down at your hand, and then just squeezed his hand happily, starting to follow him to the cafeteria.

Touya was feeling pretty damn happy about how things were going and so were you. You were probably going to be taking it slow, since this was so new for the both of you, but neither of you minded that. You just wanted to spend time together and get to know each other even better.
