[Y/n's and Iori's Dream]
[Year 2629, Two Loops Ago In Sector 7]
[IN THE UFO MAINFRAME]

(Y/n) (L/n) just came back from her patrol.
She was researching the outside world.
To see if it's still possible to step foot within the areas perimeters.
It seems it's still not good enough to go out there just yet.
It was still in high levels of corrosion, something not even a normal human can take.
Even high levels of chemicals could kill them in just a few seconds breathing it in.
It was a last resort from the government before the place became desolated.
It has been two years since the Kaiju invasion in 3000.

It used to be filled with population, energy, life.
Now it has turned into rubble, destruction, deserted, and an empty place.
No buildings that was left unscathed.
Not even a single human was left in sight.
Even if there was, there's no way they can survive.
Especially when there's still Kaiju hovering all over the place.
And now there are androids scattered all over the place outside the UFO.
Majority all destroyed, and some left alive.
Even the toxic carbonated air in the atmosphere...
Like a deadly virus...
Would instantly kill them.

(Y/n): "Juro? Okino? Chihiro?"

No response.
Inside the mainframe, there was no one in site.
Was she the first one to arrive?
SHAKE! SHAKE! SHAKE!
A small short tremor waves in.

(Y/n): 'This shaking...'

???: "(Y/n)."
He calls out to her firmly yet softly.
He's been looking for her for half a day.
The worried look in his face slowly turns into relief.

That recognizable voice.
She turns around and sees the familiar form.
(Y/n): "Juro."

The two went to each other's side.

Juro: "Thank goodness you're okay, if anything happened to you..."
Juro:  "I wouldn't forgive myself."

He embraces her first, his arms firmly go around her waist, and nuzzling his head onto her neck.
Luckily they were alone at this time.

(Y/n): "Juro, I'm happy that you feel this way but..."
(Y/n):  "Now is not the time, I can't think anymore than what's going on."

Juro:  "..."
Juro softly lets go of her, keeping his distance from her.

Juro: "(Y/n)..."
Juro:  "No, you're right."
Juro:  "Something is wrong with me."
Juro:  "Right now is not the time for a confession."
Juro:  "It would only make things more complicated."
Juro:  "But please when all this is over... please promise me to hear me out."
He softly moves a bit close to her.

Y/n: "...I'll be waiting for sure. I mean, we've all been around together all this time."
Y/n:  "I know for sure, that we'll get through this."
Y/n:  "We'll make sure of it."
Y/n:  "I won't forget your promise, Juro."

Juro: "(Y/n)... yeah."

The ones that survived 2629, they're trying to find out the UFO's existence, the logistics of the UFO and what is the meaning of the Kaiju invasion.
(Y/n) may have an idea of why this is all happening, but she decides to leave that lead behind and deal with everything that she can focus on.
Everything that had happened, everything that has transpired not even a week ago in their time, that's all she can focus on.

Not even that, she can't even focus on loving Juro the way she wants to.
It hurts her so, so, so, and very much.
(Y/n) loves Juro so much, yet she can't even act normal around him anymore.
It's infuriating.
It stings.
Her heart is already broken into millions of pieces.
Can anyone blame her?
Truth be told, who can blame her for it?
WIth everything that happened to them all at once, who can blame them?
