4.5. A Murasawa Conversation

[June 28, 2129]
[4:15PM, Thursday Afternoon]

The twins finally come home to the smell of barbecue.

Y/n & T/n:  "The scent of barbecue..."

The two take off their shoes, making themselves comfortable.
They walk towards the dining area where both their parents are residing in right now.
Mother Murasawa is in the kitchen cooking barbecue while Father Murasawa is sitting at the dining table looking at his phone reading the news.

Y/n:  "Dad, Mom, we're home!"

Mr. and Mrs. Murasawa:  "Welcome back, children!"

Mr. Murasawa:  "How was school today?"

Both:  "It was awesome today."

Mr. Murasawa:  "Really? What happened today?"

Y/n:  "It has been a nice relaxing day all day."

T/n:  "Today, we also made a really good friend today!"

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Really now?! What's her name, love?"

T/n:  "Minami Natsuno."

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Minami?"

T/n:  "Yes, Minami Natsuno."

Mrs. Murasawa:  'She has the same surname as my friend... Doesmshe have a daughter?'
Mrs. Murasawa:  "Minami Natsuno-san, I would love to see her!"

T/n:  "She's free tomorrow so I should be able to invite her here for a bit."

Mrs. Murasawa:  "That's great, honey! Is she also going to join lunch with you both from now on too?"

Her mom looks at T/n as if she was happy to enlarge their bento box tomorrow.

T/n:  "Yeah, but she usually gets lunch from the cafeteria."

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Aww~ That's too bad~!"

T/n:  "Let me say when it gets busy there, that means their food is actually really good at this school."

Y/n:  "At our old school, it didn't have as much fame as Sakura High did."

T/n:  "There are still delinquents here, but there's not as much over here and they're actually stopped by the teachers themselves."

Mr. Murasawa:  "It means they actually do their job there unlike Kuku High School."
Mr. Murasawa:  "Truthfully, it was generally a great decision to listen to the both of you to transfer to Sakura High School as quickly as possible."

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Yes, honey. With everything they had going on over at Kuku, it was just too much for us and you children to handle."

Mr. Murasawa:  "Yeah, I still can't believe some gang tried to follow our two dumplings home. That's why I've been very wary about everything, especially those guys that followed you both around for sex trafficking. What took me out of my shell was when Y/n brought those two over."

Mrs. Murasawa:  "What two? Oh those two?! Me too! I didn't expect Y/n to bring boys over, ones that we can completely and fully trust."

T/n:  "Wait, you brought boys over?"

Y/n:  "Well, Shiba-san and Juro-san specifically yeah."

T/n:  "Nice."

Y/n:  "I don't think so but okay."

T/n:  "But think about it, Juro besides Shiba-san is the first ever guy friends to ever come over in welcome arms."

Y/n:  "Since the guys at Kuku wasn't really that good at all."

Mrs. Murasawa:  "They're such well-mannered boys, I would love to have them over again! Where's Juro-kun by the way?"

Y/n:  "He's taking care of his Grandma right this moment."

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Oh, so he's busy today..."

Y/n:  "Yeah, but he said he might visit when he has the chance."

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Really?! He has to! But if he can't, then whenever he is free!"

Mr. Murasawa:  "You sure sound more excited than ever, honey."
He says, smiling to his wife.

Y/n:  "You sure get excited about Juro-san a lot, Mom. Don't tell me you've taken interest in him?"

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Well... of course I have~!"

Y/n:  "Mom?!"
Y/n widens her eyes, as if she never expected her mother to say such a thing, especially with her husband there too.

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Not like that I promise, he's the first ever respectful male kid and Shiba-kun that your father and I ever took a good liking to."

T/n:  "Well, I did bring two guys over from Kuku High but they were nothing compared to them. They were so disrespectful to Mom and our things that I actually had to kick them out of the house. The next time they came over with their goonies while Dad was home luckily, I told him of the situation. We then beat them black and blue together. At that point, they stopped bothering us as well as never stepped foot in trying to flirt with us ever again."

Y/n:  "This is why I always have you by my side, you have and always helped me get out of those situation when I can't."

T/n:  "The tougher sister out of the both of us."

Y/n:  "While I'm the noodle arms."

Everyone snorts.

Dad:  "It's still not to late to learn self-defense from me, little bee."

Y/n:  "I still can, but is it really worth if I'm always with T/n? Not only that, Juro walks home with us since we live in the same amount of distance from school."

Dad:  "That's true enough."

T/n:  "Also if we do ever get into trouble, there's this guy in our school named Nenji that once saved us from the guys that tried to follow us halfway home."

Y/n:  "That's right! I forgot about him! What class does he go to?"

T/n:  "I don't know myself, but we can go see together. He did mention he's also a first year just like us."

Y/n:  "We even forgot to say our thank you's after they left.."

T/n:  "Yuki Takamiya... I wish she went to Sakura High School so I can know her better."

Y/n:  "Mm, she was pretty badass herself."

Y/n:  'I keep forgetting that Dad used to be a gang member, an experienced boxer and fighter before he completely toned it down as we came along.'
Y/n:  'Man, I should've took classes from Dad along with my younger sister so she wouldn't be put in my mess all the time...'

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Dinner's ready, children!"

Y/n:  "We're eating early?"

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Yes, I have a friend to meet in an hour so I made us food now."

Y/n:  "Is it Mrs. Minami?"

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Yes, it actually is."

T/n:  "May I come?"

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Of course you can, darling!"

T/n:  "Thanks, Mom. I haven't seen her in a while."

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Me either, and get this... She lives right next to Grandma Tamao's house so we don't have to drive!"

T/n:  "Really convenient, for sure. I'll go change now so that my uniform will be washed and dry for tomorrow."

Y/n:  "Me too."

Mrs. Murasawa:  "Please do, dumplings."

Y/n:  "I ain't no dumpling."

Mrs. Murasawa:  "You both are my dumplings."

Y/n:  "Byeee."
Y/n says sarcastically, leaving to her room to change.
