9.7. Kaede River, Sumire Bridge: Y/n's and Iori's Dream

It was a empty riverbank.
No Century Tower.
In the future times, it was already built.
But at this timeline, nothing was there.

Iori?:  "The riverbank looks so empty..."
Iori?:  "There's no Century Tower."
Iori?:  "This must be before it was built."

(Y/n)?:  "We went back 16 years..."
(Y/n)?:  "Looks like we're the only ones who made it."
(Y/n?):  "Were Juro and Okino-kun unable to escape?"

Iori?:  "This must be around the time we were born..."
Iori?:  "And we're all alone."

(Y/n?):  "What are we supposed to do?"

Just then, a few miles away, it started small.
The lighting bolts grew larger and larger and larger and larger.
A small shining ball of light grew within it, expanded with light's speed.
What popped out of the light was a huge machine.

CRASH!
RUMBLE!
RUMBLE!
RUMBLE!

What came after was big rumbles and a very loud crashing noise.
It crashed onto the bridge, on the road where there were still cars passing.
Luckily enough, there was no cars that crashed while the machine landed.
Iori? And (Y/n)? was confused.
What was going on?
Just what in the world is going on, right now?!

Iori? And (Y/n)? whom fell face flat on their butts on the ground are astonished.
What is this machine they see in front of them?

Iori: "What is that?"

On top of the machine...
???: "Whoa..."
???: "It's Sumire Bridge."
???: "Did I make it back?"
???: "!"

???: "Hold on!"
He says, jumping down and landing perfectly on the ground, next to (Y/n).

???: "Um..."
???: "You're Chihiro Morimura and (Y/n) (L/n)."
???: "Am I right?"

(Y/n): "W-who are you?"

???: "I'm Ida Tetsuya."
???: "I was sent here by the future you, Morimura."
???: "To the year 2089..."

He first helps (Y/n)? get up, then he moves on to help Iori?.

Chihiro: "The future me?"

Ida: "She asked me to find you and (Y/n) on Sumire Bridge 16 years prior..."
Ida: "And tell you two about our battles."
Ida: "We'll defeat them this time for sure."
Ida: "It's getting noisy."
Ida: "I don't want to get caught."
Ida: "Let's get out of here."

(Y/n): "What about that thing?"

Chihiro: "Are you just going to leave it here?"

Ida: "Don't have much of a choice."
Ida: "Gonna need it later eventually."
Ida: "I'll worry about it later."
Ida: "For now, though..."
Ida: "I think it's best you two come with me."
Ida says as he runs off.

Chihiro and (Y/n) look at each other.
The two nod at each other before the two run side by side, catching up to Ida.

Then...
Everything went black.
As if...
It was the end of the dream.
