Laying down in bed for 3 hours straight left me thinking a lot. A lot about my life when I was living it, and also thinking about what comes for my future. Will I aswell be a murderer? Is that what my "Commission" is?

What would this lesson be like, who's teaching it. I have thousands of questions I can ask, but I won't.

I got up from bed, walking to the mirror on the wall. Typically, in horror movies, a vampire would have a scar on their neck. So, me being curious, I lifted away my hair, gazing down at my neck.

And indeed, the scar was there. It was fresh, sort of green, which was gross. I think it was infected, or maybe it was just the "special vampire juice" that was reanimating my dead corpse right now.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door as it opened. There stood Vance one again, this time he held a pile of clothing in his arms.

"Your lesson is about to start Robin."
He said, setting the clothing on my bed.

"Oh, okay.."
I replied, I felt a wave of anxiety flow over me.

"You're supposed to change into uniform during your lessons, you want to look your best for the headmaster."
He said with a smile.

"Got it."
I mumbled, grabbing the uniform from the bed, studying it.

"I'll give you some privacy, meet me outside of your dorm when you're changed."
He instructed, exiting the room and closing the door.

Dorm? So I guess this is my dorm.

I slipped on the uniform, it was black with red accents and some sort of symbol where you're heart would be. How.. gothic.

I exited the dorm, closing the door behind me and there Vance was, leaned against the wall across the door to my dorm. Vance was now changed in the same uniform, was he also going to a lesson?

"Follow me"
He said, walking down the hall. I followed right next to him.

"By the end of your lesson, you should be able to do this,"
Vance said, disappearing from sight.

"h-huh?!"
I said, in shock. I should've probably expected this but it was just a shocker to see it head on.

I felt hands against my shoulders which made me jolt up, but then Vance appeared on my left, a crowd of smoke coming from his legs and leaking up into the ceiling.

"And eventually you'll be able to do other things, but that's only the basics."
He said, laughing at how stupidly scared I looked.

"How long have you been here?"
I asked, shyly.

"Ever since the day I went missing."
He said, kind of sadly. I could tell he wanted to go home, back to his mom and little sister, but he couldn't.

"We've all been here ever since the day our posters went up, sometimes earlier."
He added, the joy in his eyes faded as he looked down at his polished shoes.

"Can't you just go home?"
I asked, which made Vance freeze, he then approached me, leaning down to my ear, whispering something.

"I tried, they found me. They always find you. They tortured me for weeks, Robin. There's no going back to the past. This is our lives now."
He whispered, tenderly.

Vance then pulled away when he saw an elderly man walk down the hall the opposite direction we were walking, waving to vance as he walked. We continued walking.

We then reached a large corridor with roses planted around it.

"Your lesson is the one at the very end."
Vance said, pointing to a door at the end of the hall.
