𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘺'𝘴 𝘗𝘖𝘝:

"They are here." Robin spoke, which confused me. Here? Where is 'here'? In the cell next to me? Because the obese old man who calls himself 'Bradley' in the cell to the right of mine certainly isn't Vance or Griffin or.. or Billy.

"Here?"

Robin glanced at my face, which made my stomach flutter, my cheeks flush, my mind swell with love. How could I love a murderer? A monster? I don't even know who Robin is anymore. I don't really know who I am anymore, either, so I guess him and I aren't that different.

"Do you believe in paranormal activity? Or.. spiritual things? Things you'd hear in a fairytale?" Robin randomly spat, which confused me. Where was this going? What had he meant by 'fairytale'?

"Um, well, nothing like Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy.. but ghosts I could get behind." I responded, nervously laughing. This brought me back, back to the good old times. The times where I wasn't locked in a poor quality 'prison' awaiting my beheading as I sat with my love interest who looked nearly dead.

"This is going to sound crazy." Robin said under his breath, shaking his head before proceeding.

"I died. Vance died. We all died." Robin spoke, with a dead serious tone in his voice and a emotional gaze in his eyes. I nervously laughed, I hadn't known what to say to this. For hell's sake, I didn't know what to believe anymore. 

"What..?" I said, tilting my head in pure confusion. Robin then lifted his shirt, revealing stab wounds, stitched up with thread. The wounds were infected, green, they were fleshy and torn. You could see the outline of all his bones, he was slender, slim.

"We all died.. then we came back." He continued, touching his stitched, infected, wound and wincing. The wound oozed yellow puss, which made me want to gag at just the thought of.

"Came back..?" I asked, trying to make sense of this all.

"Essentially, with my understanding, we are what is pretty much a vampire." Robin answered, brushing the hair that swept over his neck out of the way, revealing a bite mark, just like how it'd be in the movies.

"Oh, oh my god." I stammered, terrified. Did he want to kill me? Was I going to turn into one of them?

"And.. And our master, he forces us to kill, to 'recruit'." Robin spoke tenderly.

"Is that why you.."

"Killed Billy?" Robin whispered, finishing my sentence for me.

"Yeah. Killed Billy." I answered, gloomily.

"I didn't want to do it." Robin spoke, his voice cracking, his words tender, his eyes watering. He looked and sounded sincere. This completely shattered me.

"Is he... here?" I asked.

"In the cell block? No." Robin replied, wiping the moisture from his dead, tired eyes.

"Then where is he?" I asked, desperate. I never was close to Billy, so I hadn't understood why I was so desperate to know where he was. Maybe this was because I witnessed his death.

"It's better you don't know." Robin responded, which made me mad. I wanted to slap him because of how secretive he was being, yet, I wanted to kiss him. I craved his touch, his lips against mine.

"Why the hell not?!" I shouted, making Robin jump from fear, shushing me shortly after.

"I just can't tell you. Because I don't even know." He whispered with a saddened gaze. This hurt me in a weird way. 

We sat there for a moment, in pure saddened silence. But this silence was eventually interrupted. 

"I think I want to kiss you." Robin spoke under his breath, which shocked me to my core. Never had I thought Robin Arellano would want anything (romantically) to do with me, and in all truth, I thought he was joking. 

I stayed in shocked silence, which caught Robin off guard.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have said anything." Robin quickly pleaded, scooting away from me. I grabbed him by his wrist pulling him in, pulling him in for a kiss. 

A kiss that would change everything.
