Rain's POV
I warped us to a remote snowy forest, me and Cole fell to the ground, getting covered in snow. I punched his face again and again, angry now.
Hell I'm pissed, he caught the next one and punched my stomach. He warped in front of me and kicked my face. I fell backwards and growled, I shift to my black small wolf and bared my teeth. He then shifted to his big white bear and stood on his hind legs and roared. I charged at him, he tried to swat me away but I dogged it and sank my canines in his right shoulder. Blood flew everywhere, he quickly threw me effortless a few feet away.
I slid acrossed the ground, the snow cushioning my fall. I got up and shook the snow out of my fur. I did a loud furious howl and charged again, going faster then before. He went back on all fours and ran to meet my attack.
A Hour Later
I punched his face as hard as I could. We were to tired to shift to our animal forms anymore. Cole then pushed me off of him, we both were sprawling on the floor gasping for air. Even with our higher strength we both were bleeding and bruised.
Cole said,"Asshole."
I said,"Mutt."
I then tried to get up again but fell back to the ground. Cole crawled to me and punched me again. I coughed up more blood and groaned.
He said breathing heavily,"The old you wouldn't have gotten this hurt and would have won hours ago."
"Yeah?"I said, my blindfold finally ripped after all the strain and fell off, I plopped myself back on the snow.
Cole fell back to the ground too. We laid there in the cold snow for a few moments before Cole blurred out,"Why do you still cover your eyes? Everyone knows your blind."
I said,"To keep the mystery vibe I guess."
The snow began to stopped falling, the trees rustled loudly in the wind. I heard him say quietly,"I'm sorry, I was being petty and a jerk."
"Nah it's fine, I understand were your coming from,"I put my hand behind my head as I watched the sky.
"I know I shouldn't keep secrets from my girlfriend, I know from personal experience secrets lead to more pain. Your right, I should go tell Vix, but not right now. Not yet... I'm just not ready yet."
Cole looked at me and sighed,"That's the most honest response I had gotten from you in a while Rain Light."
"Just shut up dude,"I took his arm and said,"Give me some of your blood I'm hungry."
He laughed and rolled up his sleeve, I grew my fangs and sunk them into his wrist. Bitter. His blood is bitter compared to Vix.
We both laid in the snow saying nothing, looking at the cloudy sky. I won't admit it ever, but as a friend I like him. I smiled a little.
A thought popped into my head as we looked into the sky, it's close to my mate's anniversary right? I should probably go visit this year.
Lynx's POV
"Uhh are you sure this is safe"?I asked Vix as I inspected the vial. We were at Vix's basement, which I didn't know she had.
"Ofcourse not that's why I'm giving it to you,"She replied casually while rummaging through papers.
"Vix-"
