Chapter 32: Proposal

Rain's POV

I bit my lip while tapping my leg and decided on my decision, I got up and said to Crass,"Okay, here what I'm going to do. I'm just going to pretend that me and Aprix left on good terms and forget how that ever happened alright? I'm probably never going to see her again anyway so that's that."

"Wait what?"Crass asked confused,"What the heck are you  talking about Rain, are you even paying attention to the match?"

It was early in the morning, yesterday me and Crass decided to hold a small harmless tournament today. We were in the training grounds in our pack Snow Fall. It was a cavern carved into the cliff with the left side exposed to the open air, it was a small underground complex compared to Lynx's pack though. There were also many areas where the floor was uneven so some floors where higher than others. They were matts and patting every, covering up all the pointy bits with gym equipment and weapons scattered through out, looking like an unorganized mess.

I scoffed and said,"Ofcourse I am, I'm just multitasking.."

We were sitting on a platform higher than the others with very crude metal bars as guard rails. The boys bellow finished their fight with Jonnah being the victor. I warped bellow and said,"Okay, Jonnah moves on to the final round!!"

Everyone cheered and congratulated him, he twirled around his spear to show off. I rolled my eyes behind my blindfold and walked over to Val, the guy who lost. I helped him up and said,"You and Vlax may be twins but that doesn't mean you have to share the same brain cell. Don't copy everything your brother does, your fire and water for goddess sake, change up your attacks for once."

He looked down and said,"Yes Alpha Rain." He was clearly frustrated, I tapped his shoulder and said,"Hey cheer up, if you win next time you'll be able to choose who gets cleaning duty."

He then smiled a bit, I then warped back up and sat back down next to Crass. I said,"See? I'm watching."

Crass sighed in annoyance and called out,"Go for his face Gem!! He's afraid to get hit there!!"

Jonnah gasped and protested,"Alpha!!"

Gem took her claymore sword and aimed for the face which Jonnah dodge frantically, which gave her the upper hand and she had her sword by his throat in seconds. Crass called out,"Okay everyone Gem's the winner!! Thanks for your hard work everyone!!"

There were some cheers and boos as the crowd of fighters disburst, I warped me and Crass down. Crass said,"As promised for the reward, you don't have to do any pack duties today."

She held her fist in the air and said happily,"Yess!!"

I smiled and said,"Good job, you've seriously improved a lot this past year."

She smiled proudly as she got complemented by her Alpha, she submitted and left giddy. Crass turned to me and said,"Oh, yeah I almost forgot, Delta Lian has something important to tell you."

A Few Moments Later

Me and Crass waited at the top of the cliff where our small forest is. I sat on a tree root waiting. And to my surprise Lain came with Jack in tow, they both seemed to be pretty nervous.

 Lian was our shy Delta who helps out around any odd jobs and errands around here. She was a lean girl with dark blue eyes, with light blue hair. She was wearing a long black skirt that perfectly complements her long legs. She had a cute red and blue blouse on with a small bag and her knifes strapped to her wrists. 

I chose her as Delta way back when the pack was only consisted of six rouges I found in the woods. I basically adopted them when I was creating this pack, their like my family. But to be honest I chose her as Delta becuase I felt bad that she was the only one who didn't have a role. But now I'm glad I chose her, she's a bit of an pushover who usually follows me or Crass or our Beta and Gamma around during the day. Just simply becoming our assistant for random, unplanned days but she's still our moral support for this pack and everyone loves her. She's can be clumsy sometimes but she's super reliable in a pinch. I am proud of how far she's come.
