Chapter 34 : This One Day

Rain's POV

Me and Vix were standing on a wooden platform a few inches above the ground, me and Em put together before, Cole standing in front of us. To my side was Crass and Jack. To Vix's side was her human friend, Cleo and her witch friend, who miraculously agreed to put out her cigarette.

My heart was beating pretty loudly as Cole began talking, he said,"We are all gathered here today to celebrate the special relationship that Rain and Vixen have. The love that these two girls have, being stronger than ever!! To celebrate them being closer, close enough to be even called mates!!"

Everyone in the crowd cheered, Vix's brother was smiling especially bright. To Vixen that wouldn't mean much but as to werewolves, mates are only the people you have a special bond and love deeply.

I sighed thinking to myself, if my mate could have seen me now, finally being happy after all these years, he would be smiling from above.

Cole continued while shamelessly scrolling through his phone looking up what to say in a wedding,"I am here to wed these two lovebird, who I cherish deeply." 

He put away his phone and looked at us with a smile,"Rain is my dearest friend who I love like family, so to see her finally be with someone who can love her just as much as I do, it puts a smile on my face."

Their was a bunch of awws from the crowd and Cole yelled,"Shut it!!!! Now, Rain and Vix would you please say your wedding vows to each other?"

Me and Vix paused looking at each other for a moment, everyone was silent for a uncomfortable while. You could've heard the water running in the distance. I shrugged at Cole who sighs, Vix tried to aplogize with a look.

I cleared my throat as I said,"I don't need a pre planned vow actually, I could say it right now. I love you Vix, trully. I want to be there for you when ever you need me, when ever you want me to be. I would do anything for you, you gave me life in this world. And there is no denying that you save me from myself and I am truly grateful and lucky to have you as my lover."

She stood their shocked, she looked really touched with what I'd said, she then said,"Yeah I love you too, I had since the moment we've met. I can't say you've made a greater impact on me then I had on you but I can say that these past few years even if we weren't together it was the most fun I'd had in a long time. I thought that I couldn't be anything by myself but you proved me wrong. I really do need you in my life Rain, I wouldn't know what I'd do with out you by my side." 

I couldn't help but cry a little, then laughing a little as our foreheads touch, I whispered,"Thank you Vix."

I heard Lynx call out,"Just kiss already!!!"

That earned some laughs from the crowds, Cole yelled at him,"Shut up!! I'm not done yet!!! Continuing on, if no one has any objections, do you Rain Light, the scorned one, the alpha of a pack of rouges, take Vixen Rizen as your wife?"

I said loudly in a smile,"I do."

"Do you, Vixen Rizen, the royal with no crown, the witch who truly lived, take Rain Light as your wife?

Vix said happily,"I do."

Cole warped in a blanket containing two rings made out of blood diamonds in front of us. Me and Vix both put each of the rings on each other's ring finger as gently as we could.

Cole then looked at everyone, who all looked at as with such pride and happiness, then he looked at us and said,"I now pronounce you, wife and wife!!! You both may kiss the bride!?!!?"

He mumbled to himself,"How the heck was I suppose to say that? Their both girls.."

I then gave Vix a long and deep kiss, she jumped back in surprise but I pushed forward making her fall into my arms. I pulled out as we both were breathing heavily, my eyes flickered as I bared my canines and sank my teeth into her neck, marking her as mine. She groaned a little in pain but I then began kissing her again. Everyone clapped and cheered, I heard someone say,"Go get a room!!"
