Chapter 16 :Considered Friends

Vix's POV

I looked outside the window of my house, it was snowing. Again. I am getting so tired of seeing snow. 

I sighed as I rolled my pencil around the wooden table. I'm bored. I got no new requests and Crass said that today there's nothing really I can do. I frowned and groaned as I leaned back in my chair, around this time Rain would be here to keep me company but she off doing her own thing right now. Man should I talk with her about that?

I decided to check inventory as I thought about it. But wouldn't that be weird if I do becuase I'm her new girlfriend? But Adam was my friend to and she might need someone now.. She never visited his grave before right? I scratched my head and sighed, I should give her some space but if she even looks remotely sad I'll be there for her. 

I tapped my head and thought duh Lynx. I walked to my hidden room and splattered mana blood on the transportation circle. I was whisked away to the other circle I set up at Lynx's pack. There was always this rush of cold air as I teleport. 

I walked out of the room to find Lynx. I turned a corner in the tunnel and I accidently bumped into someone. A girl in an oversized wooly green sweater fell to the ground. She had black winter pants on and her dark brown hair covered her entire face, so she pulled it to the side to reveal a bright grey eye.

I gasped and said,"Oh Emily!! Sorry about that."

I put out a hand to help her up, she hesitated at first but took my hand reluctantly. Huh she still is really shy.

I suddenly pulled her close to me as an idea popped into my head, I said excitedly,"Hey why don't we hang out!! I don't think you and I had ever talked to each other when we're not with the others."

She yelped and pulled her hand away and hid behind her hair. Crap forgot. I said sorry and she shook her head. I said quickly,"Yeah this is probably for the best, unlike the others we haven't bond-"

"Umm.."She whispered quietly while playing with her hands,"Sure... I'm okay with that."

I blinked twice. 

"Yaayyy!!!! Woo!! Let's do this!!!"I said pumped. I went to give her a high five but then immediately backed out.

She chuckled nervously,"Crayia said I need to spend more time with people who are actually awake."

"Oh right, cuz your a healer,"I said and she nodded.

I gave a smile and said,"Don't worry it'll be fun!! Link your girlfriend that we'll hang out and have the best time of our lives!!"I said and she yelped and backed away a bit. Ahh I forgot.

"Wait actually, don't sound to happy or she might actually kill me." I said seriously, she giggled a tiny bit and gave a small smile.

Some Time Later

"Uhh, so where are we?"Emily said nervously as she quickly dodged a person. 

I replied,"We in the South!!" 

I gestured to all of this. Cars were brushing past us to the sides. Lots of complicated roads and trains bellow. With minimal greenery and pop up stands on the sidewalks. Building connecting with each other and wires hanging above. Also hundreds of people walking the sidewalks always looking to be in a hurry. And most important of all no snow.

I pulled her back as she was about to walk at green light.

"Yeah but where, why? I mean should we really be-"Emily said quickly but almost ran into someone.
