Vix's POV

I crushed an ember leaf and weaved the power into the last magic circle on the ground.

"Good all the traps are set,"I said to myself. I was in the snowy forest near my house. It was covered with evergreen trees that were covered with snow, blending in with the snow ground. It was early in the day but the cold air made the sky look gray.

I saw Rain walking up to me. She was wearing her usual long black cloak with black combat boots and black sweat pants. She had her short spikey hair hair clipped to one side, the hair clip I gave her. And she was wearing her black blindfold and her dual wielding swords were strapped to her back.

She waved at me and said,"Yo."

I waved back while putting on my cloth mask and said,"Hi."

I took her by surprise and hugged her. She froze and chuckled,"Wow I didn't know you missed me that much, I-"

I stabbed a syringe coated in sliver into her neck, inject a toxin mixture of liquid sliver, wolfsbane, and hazel. She staggered back, winching in pain.

She said slowly,"Jeeze what was that for?"

I took out my knife and said clamly,"Fight me Rain. Don't hold back, promise me."

She turned her head to the sound of my voice and frowned. She reluctantly said,"Ok sure, If that's what you want Vix."

Rain took out her blades that were made up of shadow stone that shined against the snow. They were both black curve edge blades with black bandages as grip holds, elegant yet dangerous. She back up and twirled her blades around.

Okay think, she has no powers currently right now, so that takes that out of the picture. Given her hybrid nature, even that deadly mixture would at least keep her powers out for about ten minutes. So phase one of my plan is complete.

I took two smoke bombs from my belt and quickly threw them on the ground. I drank a speed potion and ran fast across the snow, up a tree where I hid.

She began coughing a bit and smiled. She said,"Nice, you blocked my powers and my sense of smell with this, I'm guessing special type of smoke. What did you put in it?"

Not falling for that, I thought in my head. I threw a needle at the trap bellow her feet. She easily sliced it in half but it still made contact with the ground. The circle of red appeared and blasted scorching hot flames into the air. She winched in pain as she leaped off the circle.

It burned off her cloak as she began running around. Okay that takes care of her harden werewolf skin.

Rain ran through the mind field of elemental traps I laid down. Jump all around, light and fast. I cursed under my breath, I cut my hand and dripped my blood on a calling card. It dropped to the ground and enlarged with blood hounds coming out of it made from my blood. They howeled and chased after Rain, she heard them and did a twirl slash through a dog. It turned into black goo and the other began attacking her relentlessly. I dropped to the ground and took a forgotten ones octopus leg out of my belt, I took out anorthic runes and casted them together.

As Rain was finishing dealing with the blood hounds, I yelled in ancient greek and casted the spell circle. Out came spiritually looking tentacles and I used them to attack Rain, she dodged them like a mad women. Leaping across the snow terrain lightly and gracefully. She began closing in on me, I grumbled and recalled the thing, I used the last trick up my sleeve.

I held up my bandaged arm and made the sign for a wolf.  My thumb out, index finger in. I said,"Wolf."

A rumbling sound began and just as Rain was about to slash me, a huge demon wolf appeared and was about to swallow her. My bandaged arm began to soak with blood, I wrapped around tightly. Rain clearly looked stressed now, I'd never seen her this stress when fighting me before. She was battling the demon wolf head on, slashing and hacking with her swords against the wolf and running away. For good measure I took a flashbang from my belt and threw it at Rain.

She was to distracted to look and BANG!!

Rain yelled in pain, she dropped her swords and covered her ears. I hesitated for a moment, but I began running to her as fast as I could.

"Leave," I said and the demon wolf turned into mist.

I took my knife and tried to make a pricing strike, she somehow took a sword and redirected the hit to her shoulder. I fought my absolute hardest, I began fighting her one on one, a knife against a sword. She was still disoriented from the flashbang but some how manage to defend against a portion of my attacks. Rain had cuts all over her body now from me, I backed her up against a tree and knocked the sword out off her hand and triumphantly held my knife against her throat.

We were quiet for a moment, you could hear both of us breathing heavily. I said out of breath,"I wi-"

She grabbed my wirst and pushed the knife out of my hands and turned us around so I was against the tree. She pushed both my hands together and stabbed my knife through them above me.

I gasped in pain as blood trickled down. Rain  looked in horror, realizing what she'd done,"Oh my Goddess, I am so  so sorry I didn't mean to-"

I was silent, I looked away and stared at the ground next to me. I lost, even with everything against her, I lost. I don't matter, I'm worthless.

Rain took out the knife and said worried,"My powers will be back in a bit, so hang in there until-"

I said,"It's fine," I wrapped bandages around my hands and took my knife from her.  I began walking away.

She walked behind me and took my hand and said,"What happened? What's wrong?"

I shook her off and said in a strained voice,"Nothing is wrong Rain."

She walked in front of me and pleaded,"I am your girlfriend Vix, you can tell me-"

I shouted,"LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!"

Rain froze, then I walked past her. When I was some distance away from her, I looked back and said,"I don't want to see anyone right now, don't try and talk with me."

I then walked away.
