Oscar waited excitedly, practically bouncing on his toes as he looked above and ahead of the crowd. The airport was a very crowded place.

It's not like he was waiting for this day, or something. He didn't even have a sign! He was just excited to meet one of his, now, longtime friends, and eventually go on a date with him.

And sure, he told Roller every single thing he knew about Mikey, and he forced Morris to help him clean every inch of their apartment for the last two days—plus, there was the bed incident, where he nearly crapped out his paycheck for a fancy air mattress—but he wasn't waiting for today. It wasn't saved on his calendar.

But that didn't mean he wasn't excited. This was Mickey Kahananui he was waiting for. He was sweet, and kind, and a bit of a flirt when he wanted to be—he is great.

He was also the first boy Oscar would truly admit he liked.

It took awhile, but he got there. He got to a point where he could admit to liking someone to himself, his brother, and maybe Roller. There was still some part of him that felt nervous to be waiting for a guy at the airport, nervous that people would be watching. But all of that went away as soon as he heard a certain flight land.

Oscar ran through the group of people, some holding signs and some holding flowers. He didn't care to apologize for running into them—they shouldn't have been standing so close together—and he grinned as he saw people begin to walk toward them. Where's Mickey?

"Ozzy!" Oscar turned his head at the sound of the voice, looking everywhere he thought it came from. He still wasn't finding the familiar Hawaiian boy he knew, but he didn't have much time to worry about that before he was tackled to the ground.

At first, he was a little pissed. What douche bag would tackle someone from the side? It wasn't until he realized it was his douche bag that he wrapped his arms around his neck and pulled him into himself for a hug.

"It's good to see you, too", Mickey groaned, laughing when he and Oscar rolled around on the floor. They were so happy to see each other.

It had only been about a month of FaceTimes and text messages, as well as the occasional call, but they still missed each other like lovers that had been separated for years. Or, friends.

"So", Mickey started, a knowing smile on his face as he leaned closer to Oscar's face, arms on either side of his head and legs on either side of his lap. "You miss me, Ozzy?"

Oscar scoffed, playing it off. "Barely thought about you, actually."

"Is that so?"

"Yep! You had less space on my mind than a naked mole rat."

Mickey laughed, removing himself from Oscar's lap to allow him to sit up, sniffling slightly as he adjusted the backpack on his shoulders. "Wow, Ozzy, I'm hurt."

Oscar sat up and shrugged, a playful look on his face. A part of him wondered if Mickey was aware he was joking, but telling from the excited and happy look in his eyes, Mickey was just fine. "Yeah, yeah, cry about it."
