After Strange's words a sullen mood had fallen over the group. No one really knowing what to say, nor what to do. The odds weren't stacked in our favor, we were screwed. Thanos only had two stones to go. He'd be coming here next, thanks to the distress call the Guardians had received.

Everyone had separated with dazed looks on their faces. It had hit everyone differently. Quill had seemed to gain a sense of confidence, while the other Guardians hadn't seemed to catch onto the whole incoming death. Peter had just gone quiet and Stark looked as though he had seen a ghost. Strange hadn't moved from his spot as he mulled over every detail in what he saw.

There wasn't much we could do. Strange couldn't tell us what he saw, otherwise it wouldn't happen. It's how the whole time thing worked. Messing with the timeline would cause problems and make it so we'd never win. Unless we could find another way, but the statistics said otherwise.

We just had to believe we were on the right path and hope that whatever we did next led us to our victory. We had to have hope, if we lost that then we had no reason to keep going. Without hope we'd lose.

We're on Earth, sister. Where are you?

Loki's voice in my head broke my thoughts. Damn it, I forgot to update him. I couldn't tell him what Strange said, that information had to stay between everyone on this planet. We couldn't tell anyone else, if we even got the chance to.

Titan. We got a lead that Thanos will be here.

I answered, trying to keep my answers short and hoping that Loki wouldn't press me on anything more. A silence followed for a moment, Loki was probably conveying my message to Thor or something.

We'll come to you, give you some back up.

I didn't answer for a moment, surely gaining a look of confusion from Loki, but they couldn't come here. They couldn't know what Strange had told us, and I couldn't have them here. They'd throw me off. We'd have to face Thanos with everything we had, without any restraints. If Loki and Thor were here, I'd be handicapped. I wouldn't be able to focus, I'd be stuck making sure they were safe and fighting Thanos. Thanos has already shown that he's capable of easily taking down Loki, Thor, Hulk, and I. There wasn't much we could hope to do against him, but now we had Strange and I had a feeling that his abilities were a lot stronger than I could tell.

We have back up, Stark and a wizard from Earth. We'll be fine, you two need to focus on protecting Earth, for when Thanos comes for the stone the Avengers have.

I answered, to try and fully convince Loki to stay on Earth. In the end it was for the better. If this was our path, we'd regroup once we finished off Thanos. We each had our own stone to protect, they couldn't leave theirs.

He's already kind of here. Well, at least his forces are, he isn't. I'm pretty sure he's heading for you, then.

A silence fell from Loki's end as he probably fought off someone. If he was right then we needed to prepare for Thanos to attack. We needed some sort of plan. We couldn't just attack him and hope for the best.

You'll keep us updated if something happens, right Eir?

Loki filled the silence. I smiled softly, I'd made the right choice those months ago. I had a loving family, loving brothers. I had everything I could ever ask for, and I'd be damned if I let Thanos take that away from me.

Of course, brother. The same goes for you. Stay safe and I'm only one incantation away.

Loki ended the conversation, causing a feeling of confidence to fill my body.

You kick Thanos's ass so I can see you soon, sister. Stay safe.

We could do this. We could beat Thanos, we had to. There was no other choice. My eyes locked on Stark's, a look of determination filling his eyes as he rose to his feet.

"We gotta make a plan for when Thanos comes." Stark glanced over everyone. "And it's gotta be the best damn plan any of us can think of."
