After a few more minutes with Thor, I headed back to the room where we had been discussing the Infinity Stones. Entering the room I found Natasha and Tony laying on the table, notes and books surrounding them, and Bruce laying on the floor in the same condition. I brushed it off as I joined the conversation they were having about the time stone.
"That time stone guy-" Natasha started but paused as she got stuck on his name.
"Doctor Strange." I helped her out as I cleared off a part of the table to join them laying on it.
"Yeah," Natasha gestured with her hand signaling a thank you. "What kind of doctor was he?"
"Ear-nose-throat meets Harry Houdini." Tony quipped as he rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"He had a nice place in the Village, though." Bruce added, causing me to realize I never really knew where Strange had lived.
"Yeah, on Sullivan Street." Tony continued off of Bruce, as I layed down on the table next to him, putting him in between Natasha and I.
"No," Bruce hummed as he examined his glasses, and Tony handed me his notebook to read it. "Bleeker."
"He lived in New York?" I asked, getting a yeah from Bruce, as I flipped through Tony's notes on the Time Stone.
"Guys." Natasha's voice had que in it I had heard multiple times before, she had figured something out. "If you pick the right year, there are three stones in New York."
"Shut the front door." Bruce sat up from his spot.
"I'll get Cap and the others." Tony rose from his spot and shifted off the table. "Let's get this plan rolling."
I rose off the table as well, rising to my feet. We had figured it out completely. Once this plan was done and over with we'd get to save Loki and everyone else Thanos had taken from us. It didn't take long for the others to join us and a conversation to fill the air once again.
"We'll split off into 3 teams." Steve started, he probably already had a plan in mind. "A New York team, Asgard team, and a Morag and Vormir team." Steve paused for a moment making sure everyone was on board with the plan. "The New York Team will be retrieving the Time, Space, and Mind Stones, this team will be Bruce, Scott, Tony and I.'' Steve did a quick glance making sure there weren't any objections. "Asgard will be getting the Reality Stone. That team will be Thor, Rocket, and Eir."
Steve paused once again. I couldn't go to Asgard. Not only did that stop me from going to Vormir, but it was an overall horrible idea. If I went to Asgard and someone saw me, it would start a manhunt.
"I can't go to Asgard." I spoke up, stopping Steve from going forward and gaining a confused look. "During the time frame the Reality Stone was on Asgard, I was exiled."
"Alright, you'll go to Vormir instead." Tony nodded before turning to Thor and Rocket. "Will you two be fine, just the two of you?" Rocket nodded and Thor answered with a yes. "Okay, continue Rogers."
"The Morag and Vormir team will be Rhodey, Nebula, Clint, Natasha and Eir. Clint, Natasha, and Eir will separate after dropping off Rhodey and Nebula at Morag. Any objections?" Steve paused, and no one said anything, showing we all agreed with him. "All right. We have a plan. Six stones, three teams, one shot."
One shot. That's all we had. One chance. We wouldn't have any Pym particles left if we failed. Failing wasn't an option. We'd do it this time. No matter what. In the next few hours we'd have all the Infinity Stones. We'd have our families back a few hours after that. This was it. Our one shot. Our one chance. A chance of a lifetime.
