My consciousness came back to me slowly. I had had some sort of weird Ebenezer Scrooge experience after I jumped. I saw Fury, Ela, and Odin. Each of which had the same message, but different ways of saying it. My head felt clearer than before. Like a massive weight had been taken off my shoulders. It wasn't like I had resolved anything though.

Feeling came back to my body as I realized I was laying in ice cold water. I sat up slowly as my head pounded, probably the concussion from hitting the ground still healing, alongside all the other damage done to my body from the fall.

I scanned my surroundings, looking for anything that was familiar. I was still on Vormir, that's really all I could figure out. Both Natasha and Clint were nowhere to be seen. They had most likely headed back by now, thinking I was dead. They had hopefully gotten the Soul Stone, if it worked. I was technically dead for a while, so it should have. I don't know what we would do if it didn't.

The only thing I could get from my surroundings is that I wasn't on the mountain anymore or even close to it for that matter. It was merely a speck in the distance from where I sat. I wonder how I got all the way over here. Maybe Natasha and Clint tried to bring my body back but failed in the end. Or maybe it was just some weird magic thing that no one could explain.

I couldn't stay here, in case Red Skull decided it wasn't fair I wasn't dead and tried to kill me himself. I rose to my feet slowly, my head still pounding and a dull ache in my stomach. I should head back anyway. The sooner I got Loki back the better.

I clicked a button on the compacted time suit on my wrist. A moment passed as I waited for the suit to come on around my body. Clicking the button to return home the helmet came on around my head and a few moments passed before my body shrunk.

Soon I was in the flashing tunnel that still reminded me of the Bi-frost. The flashing lights caused my headache to increase as I continued through the tunnel. A few moments passed before the others came up along my side as we reached the end of the tunnel and back into the present day.

I grew back to my regular size, my feet landing on the platform we left on. The world spun slightly, but I pushed it aside, knowing it would fix itself. Glancing around the circle, I mentally checked off on everyone being there.

My head throbbed even more than before as the others began to speak. That's when something weird happened. I could hear them speaking but I couldn't focus on any of the words. They just sounded like a bunch of muffled words. Something felt off, really off.

My eyes landed on Natasha and Clint, who hadn't said anything yet. Natasha and Clint looked broken for a moment before their eyes locked on me. A look of relief flashed over both of their faces but it was gone quickly replaced with worry. They tried to speak to me as they looked at me concerned. All I heard were voices but the words wouldn't register in my mind as the world spun even more and my head felt as though it would explode. What the hell was happening?

I tried to read their lips as they continued to try and speak to me. The others had joined in as well as I glanced around at the others. Each one showed a different level of concern. My eyes went back to Natasha and Clint as I looked at them both, confused on what the hell was happening to me.

I tried to step towards them, in hopes whatever was happening would just fade away and in fear, but it only made it worse. The world began to spin even more than before as a wave a neusa waved over me. I tried to push myself closer to them, but it only got worse as my steps wavered and my feet gave out beneath me.

My body didn't hit the ground as it was saved from impact by Tony catching me. I could hear him talking, only slightly as pain drained out his voice and the others faded in and out. What the hell?

This wasn't right. I was supposed to be healing. I was unkillable. Nothing could kill me, absolutely nothing or I would've died by now. I hadn't felt this amount of pain since before I was cursed by Odin. Something happened, something really bad happened.

The world around me became blurry as Tony was barking orders at the others and my body was being moved. Thor came into view at one point. His face looked petrified, almost as if he thought I was dying. Tears streamed down his face. I tried to speak to him, but nothing came out, only causing more distress to my brother.

Tony locked eyes with me as he tried to speak to me. I did my best to read his lips, only catching onto one thing he was repeating. 'You're gonna be alright. We've got you.' A new wave of pain washed over me, as I closed my eyes hoping the lack of light would make the headache go away.

I was quickly shaken back to open my eyes by Clint, who looked pale almost as if he thought I had just died then and there. Natasha came into view next, but she quickly faded out of my vision before I could read her face fully. I didn't need more than a second to realize she was terrified.

Everyone cared so much for me, so much, and here I was the one that left them so many times before, I felt kind of bad but I knew if it were one of them on the ground I would be doing the same.

My body shifted completely off the ground, but I couldn't really focus on anything as everything faded in and out of focus. All I knew was I was being moved and I felt like I was dying, but I couldn't be. It was impossible. Odin's magic was too powerful to be reversed. I'd be perfectly fine, right?
