The docks of the capital were a busy place. People from all across the lands were found here. Trade of goods were exchanged here through business transactions and handmade stalls. Ships of all shapes and sizes were docked here as well. Even the Dawn Treader, which had it's own special place among the Royal Navy.

You, Darling, and Huang made your way toward the dockmaster's office where you would check the recent arrivals. You just needed to see if any blackberries had came through recently. Or if there were arrivals from Ever After.

Darling: Looks like we're here.

You all stopped and looked at the marble building before you. It looked grand in it's own right. On it were also the crests of of the other lands, but you had found a man chipping off the one for Ever After and instead replacing it with a symbol you haven't seen in a while.

Darling: They're recognizing Oz as a land?

Huang: Why not? It has people and trade. Even a ruler.

Darling looked to you, but you didn't really react to this news. In truth, you found yourself at a crossroads when it came to the new nation of Oz and your brother. Could you really hate him for simply trying to rebuild what was once your home? He attacked the school, yes, but it was in his quest for vengeance. He almost killed you, but you were in his way.

Huang: You alright?

You snapped out of your thoughts and turned to your companions. You then nodded.

Y/N: Yeah.

You turned back to the crest and sighed.

Y/N: Yeah.

The dockmaster's office was much fancier than you were expecting. You were scared to even step into the room and get dirt everywhere. Even Darling was impressed by the decor, and she grew up in one of the grandest castles in Ever After.

Huang: I can talk to the dockmaster. I was actually here yesterday, so this should be pretty quick.

You looked at the boy for a moment. He was Mulans son, yes, but something in the back of your mind told you not to trust him. You didn't know why. Still, best to keep him at arm's length.

Y/N: I can do it. I appreciate the help.

Huang raised a brow.

Huang: Do you speak Asi?

Darling took a step forward, catching onto your distrust.

Darling: I do.

Huang simply raised his hands and took a step back, giving the two of you the space to do your own thing. He simply leaned against a nearby table and began to whistle to himself. You and Darling shared a look before heading into the office.

You found the dockmaster writing in his book about that morning's shipments. It was all in Asi, but you had a translator. Darling took note of his logs before he noticed the two fo you standing there.

Darling: He said hello.

You nodded. You then turned back to the man.
