You checked your map to see that you had landed somewhere just north of Ever After High. You actually knew of the area since this was where Baba Yaga would stay when school wasn't in session. Perfect timing, it seemed, since you could use her advice on the treasures and what to use them for.

Maybe even charge your phone.

Cerise was enjoying the air of Ever After while Darling tried to check up on her news feed on her dying mirror phone. She then found something that caught her eye.

Darling: An invasion?

You both looked at her as she scrolled through the article. Her eyes grew wide before she looked at you.

Y/N: What happened?

Darling showed you the screen, revealing the article. Tina took over Oz and was attacking. The armies were being called to arms to push back the attacking force. You and Cerise shared a look before you turned to Darling.

The war was starting now?

You stood there, foot tapping as you tried to think of a way to buy just a bit more time. You still didn't know the full potential of the treasures or even a way to end this war. Could you even stop it? All the armies banded together could work, but if Tina had access to an endless supplies of shadow creatures and tin soldiers......

Darling: The Charming army could help.

You looked to your friend.

Darling: If I go back, I could convince my father to aid the joined kingdoms.

Cerise: Would he? I mean, he's sorta under hot fire right now.

Darling: It wouldn't matter. This isn't just about one kingdom. This is a full scale invasion.

You didn't know if you liked the idea of her heading off on her own. Not like this. If she was caught alone, she would surely in some trouble. You slowly reached into your pocket and pulled out the Mapalogue. You would need to split up if you wanted to hurry. You rubbed the stone with your thumb and thought for a moment.

Darling was lost in thought when you approached her. She looked at you confused before she noticed that you were holding out the Mapalogue. She carefully took it.

Y/N: We're going to see Baba Yaga. When you're done, meet us at the school. We'll go from there.

Darling looked at you for a moment before looking at the rock. You trusted her with this? One of the presents your mother left for you?

Cerise watched this and couldn't help but smile. She remembers meeting you for the first time. It was like you were a completely different person, and yet you were the exact same.

Dalring: I'll come back as soon as I can.

Y/N: Figured. Don't go pushing yourself.

Darling nodded. She took a step back and you joined Cerise. In a quick flash, Darling was gone. You checked your notes to see where you were going.

Cerise: Guess it's just us now.

You just shrugged.

Y/N: Not the first time. Remember when you almost got banished from your old village?

Cerise smiled at the memory. It seemed like such a big deal back then. And yet here she was, being herself. She now had somewhat of a relationship with her sister and her parents could be happy now. And it was partly your fault.
