Once they managed to convince the doctors that Oscar just collapsed from anxiety and dehydration, they were free to go. Nancy and Mike had been able to go see their mom and learn that Mr. Whatsit was actually Henry all along.

They drove back to the radio tower where Steve, Jonathan, Dustin and Will were waiting outside.

Will ran up to Oscar and hugged him tight. "I heard. I-I'm so sorry, Oscar..." Oscar hugged him back, biting his lip and trying not to cry again over his parents. He couldn't think about that now.

"We've learned some shit." Oscar whispered.

"Yeah, so have we." Will added grimly.

Everyone went inside the radio tower and exchanged information.

"Derek? Derek Turnbow? As in Turnbow Realty?" Steve asked in disbelief.

"The one and only." Robin nodded.

"That whole family's a menace." Lucas muttered.

Nancy frowned. "How can you be sure? Sure that Derek's the next target?"

Will huffed. "Because I saw. I've learned that when I'm close enough to the hive mind, I can tap into it, and into Vecna's mind. I can see who he's targeting. The first time it happened, I saw through Holly's eyes, the same day she was taken. The same thing happened again today, only this time it wasn't Holly, I was someone else. I was Derek Turnbow, I'm positive."

"Wait a minute, wait a minute," Oscar felt a headache coming on. "So...you were Vecna...but in Derek's mind?" Will nodded quickly.

"Vecna's like a psychic serial killer. He stalks his victims, but he does it by invading their minds. That's what he did with Chirssy and Max." Robin explained.

"But this time was different." Nancy chimed in. "He stalked Holly, but he did it as Henry, not Vecna."

"We think he was trying to earn her trust." Mike added. "We don't know why."

"Look, whatever the reason, the point is, Derek is next, and we need to save him." Will explained firmly.

They watched as Will went over to the map and started gesturing to it with a pointer. "The Turnbows live here, we wait in the van across the street. As soon as they're asleep, we move in, we grab Derek, and we take him to here, the McCorkle Farm, it's completely abandoned. The only thing is, we need to make sure he doesn't see us or know where he is. So we need to blindfold him."

"Wait a minute," Steve sputtered. "You want to blindfold a child?"

"So that Vecna can't find him." Robin reasoned.

"Mom, you're fine with this kidnapping a child plan?" Jonathan had to ask.

"We're saving a child via kidnapping." She insisted.

Dustin huffed. "If I may, while I'm not morally opposed to this, there's a few holes in the plan."

"Yeah, like what if Derek falls asleep before the Demogorgeon attacks him?" Lucas asked.

"Or what if Derek wakes up when we grab him and alerts his family?" Nancy asked. "We'll go to jail."

"And, the biggest hole, even if by some miracle this plan works, Holly's still missing, El and Hop are still MIA, and this doesn't bring us any closer to finding Vecna." Dustin snapped.

But then, Mike got an idea and perked up. "Hang on, I think there might be a way."

Everyone watched as Mike grabbed some DnD figures and dumped them out on the table. "This is Derek, and this is the rest of the Turnbow family. We'll need to recruit someone the family trusts, someone with access to the house, and that person will knock the family out."
