Chapter One: The Crawl

"BREAKFAST!!!!" Holly's shout rang throughout the Wheeler household.

"COMING!" Mike shouted back before banging on the bathroom door. "Oscar hurry up or I'm gonna take a whiz right here on the floor!"

But to his mortification, Joyce is the one who opened the door, eyeing him strangely.

"...Sorry Mrs. Byers." Mike told her awkwardly.

"Whiz away." She deadpanned and headed downstairs with Nancy, who just left her room.

Mike huffed, but then his eyebrows furrowed, looking around. Where the hell was Oscar?

Down in the basement, Will and Oscar were sitting on the blow up mattress, exchanging some eager kisses.

"BREAKFAST!!" They heard Holly shout from the basement door.

Oscar scowled as he had to break the kiss, yelling back. "COMING!" But then he returned to kissing Will.

Will laughed as he pulled back. "Oscar- Oscar, my mom will definitely notice if we're late to breakfast. You're not even supposed to be down here with me unless someone else is here."

"Jonathan's here." Oscar shrugged, gesturing to Jonathan, who had his face buried in a pillow on the couch.

"Jonathan is awake now, so get away from my brother." Jonathan grumbled into the pillow.

Rolling his eyes, Oscar reluctantly pulled back pulling and got up from the mattress, offering Will his hand. Will happily took it and stood up.

Everyone was eating breakfast, which was chaotic when you had two families worth of people at one table. It was annoying having to pretend around his parents that they weren't dating, but Oscar knew he was pushing it enough with the whole 'being a boy' thing.

Besides, he could still hold Will's hand under the table. Will's fingers brushed over the old bracelet that Oscar had begun wearing again when they returned to Hawkins.

After breakfast was over, everyone headed out the door for school, including Holly who was officially in elementary school now.

Will, Mike, Oscar and Holly got on their bikes and listened to the radio show Robin was running to catch up on the latest news.

The trio arrived at school just in time to see Dustin getting bullied by Andy and one of his buddies. They had him pinned to the lockers and had started to tear his Hellfire shirt but it looked like Lucas had stopped them.

"If you touch Dustin again, I'll make them pop like water balloons." Lucas told Andy plainly, referring to his balls.

Mike scoffed. "I say kick away," He sassed as they walked up. "Stop this meathead from reproducing and further infecting the world with his unique brand of idiocy."

Andy let out a bitter chuckle, and seemed to debate what he wanted to do, before deciding there was too many of them. He shoved Dustin one more time and stormed off with his friend.

Dustin silently flipped them off before walking with the others.

"Okay seriously?" Oscar snapped. "What happened to laying low? Why are you provoking them?"

"Oh, so this is my fault?" Dustin snapped back.

Will looked at him with concern. "You're going to get hurt, Dustin."
