◇─────────────────◇The sun has begun to set, meaning there were more people walking around the academy.
Delilah has just left Lissa in the church archive with Christian Ozera. Everyone saw him as a villain not noticing how nice he actually was. Just because his parents chose to turn Strigoi didn't mean he was like them.
Delilah decided she liked him a few weeks ago when he approached her.
She was sitting in the Moroi Culture classroom. The lesson has just ended and everybody was clearing out. Christian came up to her and introduced himself.
It was that simple. He didn't seem egoistic or evil. He was just the new guy with a not-so-pleasant past. But whose past was pleasant?
As she was leaving them behind she could hear them starting a conversation. It seemed both of them were quite taken by each other.
Not wanting to eavesdrop Delilah made her way out of the building faster.
She didn't have a selected route for her walk so when she ended up seeing Rose standing and talking with Dimitri, it seemed like a nice time to introduce herself.
They were standing outside the main building of the Dhampir section, the Dhampir training grounds were a little further behind them.
As Delilah was approaching she couldn't help but overhear some of their conversation.
"You're kind of a Guardian nerd, aren't you?"
This made Delilah smile. Of course, Rose would try to tease one of the best Guardians there was.
"It's cool. Do your thing, perimeter man. But just know I plan on taking your job when I graduate."
"I agree," Dimitri was still looking at the perimeter but slowly turning to look at Rose.
"Lissa would be in perfectly good hands with the best Guardian at St. Vladimir's Academy."
"Thank you," Rose had a proud smile on her face.
"Although that may be hard, given your ranking."
"I'm number one."
Delilah was almost standing next to them now so this seemed like a good moment to enter the conversation.
"She's always number one," receiving a nod from Rose.
"Then perhaps... you're not as good at perimeter control as you think."
Dimitri looked at the leaderboard and then back at Rose. Both girls turned to see what he meant and there it was. Rose wasn't number one, she wasn't even number two. Her place was at number five.
"What the fuck?" was all they could hear from her before she bolted toward the training Novices and Alberta.
Delilah snickered as she saw her yelling at everyone involved. This made Dimitri finally look at her.
"Lady Dragomir," lowering his head showing the Moroi respect.
Cringing from hearing the formal greeting he used she put her hands behind her back twisting them together to ease the weird feeling that went through her. He couldn't be making her nervous just by saying her title, could he?
Stepping closer she outstretched her hand towards him.
"I wanted to introduce myself because you being Lissa's new Guardian means we will be seeing each other a lot. I'm Delilah, so please call me that."
