Dimitri's schedule was fully packed. He didn't seem to think before agreeing to train both Rose and Delilah. It could be speculated that training with Rose was physically harder but when you counted on the emotional part Delilah won one hundred percent.

So now here he was, walking from a training session with Rose only to train with Delilah.

Rose's schedule was easier to work with as both of them had time throughout the day. With Delilah, they either trained at night or found a spot with a nice, big shade created by a tree or a building.

When he finally spotted her she was stretching under an oak tree with her bag leaning against the trunk. The place they chose was far enough for them not to be disturbed but still on the academy grounds.

"Took you long enough," she joked as he put his stuff next to hers.

"Then you've had the time to prepare I presume," his movement was so fast you could have imagined it. One moment he was standing a few steps away from her and the next he was behind her, looping his leg through hers and making her fall to the ground.

"That was not fair," the shock in her voice evident. He pulled her up before speaking.

"That was just the start, if you don't want to continue all you have to do is say it."

Delilah brushed herself off. This was going to be much harder than she'd imagined. After an hour or so of Dimitri either tripping or pushing her she was out of breath while he just stood there with that devilish smirk.

"I think you've had enough for today," he offered her his hand for what seemed like the hundredth time that day.

She sighed as she took his hand but didn't let herself be pulled up, instead she pulled him towards her, successfully surprising him. As he was pulled to the ground landing on his back she quickly took a hold of his shoulders, while her legs were on either side of his hips.

"I think you've had enough for today, Guardian," she was the one smirking at him now.

He would have let it go if it wasn't for that comment. Swiftly he grabbed he by her waist and rolled them around so that he was on top of her in the same position she was just seconds ago.

Their faces were now so close Delilah could feel his warm breath on her face. Still under him, her eyes slowly travelled down towards his lips before she quickly looked back into his eyes.

He did the same while slowly lowering himself closer to her.

"Dimitri-" her breathless voice was disrupted by the sound of approaching footsteps. They both stood up quickly, not meeting each other's eyes.

"There you are," said Rose as she got close. "I'm going to give Lissa the book from Christian and I thought that you might want to come."

"Um, sure, just give me a second," Delilah turned and picked up her stuff.

As she had her back towards them she didn't see how Dimitri's red face was avoiding Rose's narrowed eyes. She wanted Delilah to be happy but she was worried that if it came down to deciding between her and his orders he would choose the latter.

"Thank you, Dimitri, I hope I didn't make a complete fool of myself," she smiled up at him while walking past.

"No, not a complete fool," he noted giving her one of his triumph smirks.
