I have no clue where this is going so I hope it turns out alright lol! Enjoy!

At the Bellas house, Amy and Beca share a room. But when Amy was out at Bumper's for the night, Beca was in for a new roommate.

"Hi Becs," Chloe said with a little grin. Beca knew she had something planned but couldn't tell what.

"What's up?" Beca was focused on making the Bellas' set, so she didn't even look up from her laptop. Instead of answering, Chloe came over and shut Beca's computer.

"What was that for? You know, I'm working on your set." Beca was clearly annoyed, but she could never stay mad at Chloe.

"I'm bored, and besides we don't need that set until like next week! Wanna watch a movie?" Chloe had such an eager tone to her voice, Beca loved it.

"That sounds great, but I'm only participating under one condition."

"Mitchell you're so difficult." Chloe was grinning as she said this, so clearly she wasn't too annoyed.

"I wanna make drinks cause it's been a long day, and also get into our comfiest pajamas!"

"That was two conditions, but I'll let it slide. You run downstairs and grab the drink stuff, I'll get the rest ready."

Beca grabbed some glasses and a bottle of wine, their favorite drink for a movie night. By the time she got upstairs Chloe was in the middle of changing, and Beca couldn't help but stare. She had such a big crush on Chloe but didn't want to risk their friendship by confessing it.

"Ooohhh just what I wanted! I chose Freaky Friday and grabbed our comfiest blankets." Chloe was already pouring the girls each a glass.

Beca began to change, and just like her, Chloe admired Beca as she undressed. Both girls were so oblivious to their feelings toward one another.

*2 hours later*

The girls were snuggled up in Beca's bed, and Chloe had started to doze off.

"You're so pretty, Chlo." Beca said as she ran her finger down the slope of Chloe's nose. The girls were close enough that this affection wasn't weird, but Beca wished they were more than friends.

Chloe didn't say anything, she just scooted closer into Beca. This felt different from their usual friendly cuddles.

The girls stayed silent for a while, falling in and out of sleep. Chloe eventually broke the silence.

"Can I stay the night, Beca? I know Amy will be gone..." Beca would never say no to this.

"Are you sure Tom won't care?" Tom was Chloe's boyfriend, and he didn't care too much for Beca. Probably because he could tell Chloe had feelings for her.

"Oh. Um.. Me and Tom actually broke up." Chloe was relieved to finally tell Beca this, and couldn't even recall why she kept it secret.

"Oh, Chlo. I'm so sorry. What happened?" Beca knew Chloe loved Tom, but she couldn't help but be happy Chloe could spend some more time with Beca.

"Well, we broke up a month ago. I didn't want to say anything, but surprisingly it didn't hurt that bad. I had... or... have my eyes on someone else, and Tom could tell."

*Shit. Guess I won't see more of Chloe...* Beca thought.

"Who's the new guy?" Beca couldn't hide the slight disappointment in her voice.

"I shouldn't say."

"Is it Jesse? If it's Jesse I don't care Chlo, we broke up a year ago." Maybe if Beca ever really liked Jesse this would be different, but it's easy to get over someone when she never had feelings.

"No! Not Jesse!" Chloe wanted to say it so bad, even the alcohol wouldn't let her spill.

"Chlo. I'm your best friend. Just tell me!"

"That's the thing! We're best friends! I like you, Beca!" Chloe's face turned bright red. She couldn't believe what just came out of her mouth.

Beca's mouth practically hung open in awe. "You do?"

"Do you?" Chloe's nerves were easing at just the possibility of Beca sharing these feelings.

"Chloe, I've liked you since we first met freshman year. Why do you think I even joined the Bellas? The second I saw you at the activities fair I thought you were the most beautiful girl ever."

"I can't believe I didn't know." Chloe couldn't even comprehend what was going on. She never thought this would ever happen.

"I've been trying to flirt and drop hints ever since, but you know I'm not good at that. Plus, it's hard to flirt with a girl who was always hopping from guy to guy!" Beca said with a little laugh.

"I was hopping from guy to guy to distract myself from you!" Chloe had moved from her spot in Beca's arms to practically on top of Beca.

"No more distractions. No more bad flirting. This is real." Beca was being more assertive than Chloe had really ever seen her be.

All Chloe could think to do was kiss Beca. Finally, after all these years they finally passed the friend zone.

When their lips came apart, both girls were blushing.
