George POV
Unable to watch my twin exchange saliva with the girl in love, I left the room. I ran upstairs and crashed on my bed struggling to shake the image out of my head. It wouldn't go. Now I knew what we would look like if we kissed. The thought of kissing Maya improved my mood slightly. We make a sizzling pair! The burgundy chapel! Yes, that's where I will marry her... We will have a baby girl, with brown eyes and dark wavy hair just like Maya's. My mischief and her brains... My height! Definitely my height.
I woke up in the middle of the night and waited for my eyes to get accustomed to the darkness. Fred wasn't in his bed. Where the fuck is he? I leapt out of bed. If I find him with Maya, today is the day I send him to hell. I am going to kill that bastard. I hurried down the dark staircase. Multiple snores were heard from within the living room. In the darkness, I could see sleeping human forms strewn all across the floor and on every piece of furniture.
"Lumos" I whispered and a blue hue lit up the living room of the burrow. Percy spooned Penelope on the sofa. Harry and Ginny were on the floor below them. Ginny's palm rested on Harry's ass. Eww! Charlie had slumped on an arm chair holding a bottle of fire whiskey in his hand. Ron mumbled in his sleep by the fireplace and Fred lay under a comforter on the rug, his arm coiled around a petite frame whose unruly hair fell onto my twin's face. Oh hell no! Frustrated I stomped in Fred's direction to yank Maya away from him. But as I got on the rug and the light from my wand illuminated her face and I realized it was Granger, not Maya. Phew!
Where is Maya? I scanned the entire room, looked under the sofa, behind Charlie, and checked under Fred's comforter twice to make sure he wasn't hiding another girl in it. There was no sign of her.
"What are you looking for?" A sleepy-looking Bill questioned from the hallway. He tried to suppress a yawn.
"Do you know where Maya is?" I asked checking under the armchair cushions.
"Not under there." Bill turned around and headed back to the kitchen. I sprinted after him.
A couple of floating candles lit our messy kitchen. There were fire whiskey bottles everywhere!
"Help me clean up Georgie," Bill commanded.
"Where is she?" I roared in frustration as I tossed empty bottles into the dustbin.
"Her boyfriend was here. Arnold, no Adam..."
"ADRIAN!" I cut him.
"Ah, Adrian yes! He came, picked her up, and took her home with him. Smart boy that one." Bill said as he scrubbed the sink clean.
"Pucey was here! What? Why? Why did you let her go!" I hissed. Never before had I been so angry with Bill.
"Relax, I have given her a 1 a.m. curfew. They wanted to start off Christmas together, who am I to stop them? Besides Maya got all teary-eyed and I couldn't say no. Ginny threatened to hex me if I didn't let her go. That didn't help either." He shrugged. "By the way Merry Christmas to you little brother." Bill ruffled my hair.
"Merry Christmas to you too, you stupid moron." I snapped.
"Hey don't be mean. She'll be back in 10 minutes. Like seriously? What is going on between the two of you? You haven't spoken a word since she got here."
"She let a Slytherin move in with her. Her brain is clouded with lust. I am just waiting for her to return to her senses."
Bill tossed his rag onto the table. "You love her, don't you? You stare at her a lot. It's borderline creepy."
"That's bullshit. I don't stare. Fine, I love her. So what? We have been close for years now and it's difficult not to fall in love with... with... someone like her. What are you going to do? Tell on me to mum? She is already pissed with me, and I have no clue why. Give her another reason, I don't care. I am no good for her precious Maya..." I ranted.
