A week had passed since you arrived at Clawdeen's grandparents house, and you had never felt more uncomfortable in your life. Most of your days were spent alone in the bedroom, only coming out to eat when her grandmother made breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Clawdeen usually came in after dinner time. You had a routine, one that helped you keep control of your life in a way that satisfied you. You had a television and a gaming console to keep you busy, but that didn't stop the boredom that had begun to sprout in your mind. You had taken a liking to a few games, however, which helped ease the nagging feeling of laziness.
As for Clawdeen, she had gotten a job to help afford everything that you had. She felt as if it were her responsibility to watch after and provide for you. She didn't want to leave you alone to fend for yourself in the world, and she knew one day she'd be able to afford her own place. Her job was quite boring, actually, as she was only a busgirl in a restaurant. She only made a few dollars an hour, but it was enough to afford your food and hobbies in the meantime.
She huffed a sigh as she scooped another large pile of food into the trash bin before setting it in the industrial dishwasher the restaurant owned.
Meanwhile, Clawdeen's grandmother sat on her floral couch, watching her old television as she knitted a small glove. She watched carefully, the news being far more interesting than anything else.
A picture of you popped into the screen, and she squinted her eyes to recognize the resemblance. The newslady began speaking before she could decide if it truly was you or not.
"(Y/N) (L/N) has been deemed missing. The ghoul killer is suspected to have taken her. But why? Why would the killer want such a sweet girl? Turns out the killer is Clawdeen Wolf, a girl that attends Monster High. She was found by a strand of hair at the site! Anyway, back to you, Gerald!"
Clawdeen's grandmother gasped. Her granddaughter had kidnapped you? Surely that wasn't correct! Surely there was another explanation! But as for the killings, that was undeniable. She frowned as tears formed in her eyes. What would she do now?
She stood and walked to your room carefully, being careful not to disturb your game as she opened the door.
"Hey, hunny." She cooed to you. "I've got a question."
"Sure!" You paused your game and turned to her. "What's up?"
"Well, the news....the news channel said that you were...kidnapped by Clawdeen."
Your face immediately switched to a surprised expression, and she sighed before looking down.
"Is it true?" She asked.
You nodded slowly. "She-She forced me to come with her...told me if I didn't then I'd be hurt like the others.." you blurted.
"Oh, hunny."
"Don't tell her I told you!"
"I won't, I swear."
She then stepped away and shut the door. You sighed. It had felt so good to admit everything, though you regretted letting everything spill out like it had. You didn't care too much, however. Finally, someone knew. Finally, someone was aware of your pain and mental battle.
A few short hours later, Clawdeen came home. She ran to you first, engulfing you in a tight squeeze before releasing you. "Baby! I'm so happy to see you! You're amazing! I love you!"
You giggled and pushed her off. "Yeah, yeah, I love you too."
"So how was your day?" She asked excitedly.
You shrugged. Before you could say anything, her grandparents stepped up. "Clawdeen, we'd like to have a little chat with you about your stay here."
She nodded. "Okay," then she turned to you. "Be right back, (Y/N)."
You allowed her to leave before plopping yourself on the couch. Clawdeen wasn't back for a few minutes, but when she returned she seemed livid.
"Did you tell them?" She asked.
"Huh?"
"Did you fucking tell them?" She slowed her words and drew them out, treating you as if you couldn't understand her.
"Yes, but they asked! Grandma asked! And then it kinda just came out and-and I didn't know what to do!"
Clawdeen glared over at her grandparents, who sat in the kitchen having their own conversation.
"I know what to do." She said.
