Epilogue

"kuya pupunta si aki dito" my sister entered the room to say that her friend was coming. 

"and so?" i looked at her and raised a brow. 

"nothing i just want to inform you" after she said that she also left my room. 

her friend was here almost every day, so every time she was here, i locked myself in the room or left the house to meet theo and aren. Because i don't want anyone else in the house, because i was shy. Elise and i are not the same, my sister is too friendly and loud, while i just always want to be alone. Even in the outings, i only went with them once because i was also busy with my studies. 

"i like you, shin" hyra confessed. I met her because of theo, since then she has always teased me, even though i avoided her several times. 

"sorry but i don't like you" i said with no emotions at my face.

"you don't like me? Why?" she said, looking desperate and full of eagerness. 

"do i need an explanation? Can't you just accept that i don't like you" i seriously said to make her stop. 

"can you at least try to date me?" she insists on me. 

"can't take no for an answer?" i left her, shocked and utterly dumbfounded. 

why do some women force themselves on someone who doesn't want them in the first place? Why can't they just accept that they really has no hope for that person? That's why i don't want to be in love. 

but then i just ate everything i said, when i met her. 

"kuya si aki, my best friend" elise introduced her friend to me and i just forced myself to smile at her.

she has brunette skin, a pointed nose and her hair was black and its long. She seem quiet when it comes to other people, but when i heard her and elise talking, she wasn't. Until i got used to her always coming to our house, i got used to hearing her laughs. 

every week ends i know she and elise are together, but i don't understand why i'm looking for her. One sunday i saw her dancing in front, she was a tambourine dancer, A servant of God. And i'm even more confused by my feelings. 

i was confused about my feelings for a long time, so i just let it go. Until elise's friends invited me to eat with them, and she was here too. Elise ordered food and said that i had sundae and fries, so immediately took it  because it's my favorite food. 

"papi shin jowain mo nga ako!" the guy shouted and aki hit him. "aray ha" 

"pwede ba kahit ngayon lang manahimik ka naman" she said, obviously running out of patience. 

we just waited for the food that my sister ordered to arrive, and while i was dipping the fries into my sundae, i felt akeira staring at me. So i looked up at her and when our eyes met, it was as if something happened to my heart because it beat faster. 

"you want to try?" i offered her my sundae and fries. 

she took it and dipped it in the sundae, i just stared at her until she ate it. "Its good" she said, look shocked.

"you can have it" i smiled at her. 

"pano ka?" she utter. "you ordered two sundaes?"

"yeah, and thats for you" 

i actually told elise to double the fries and sundae, because i really intended to give her that.
