Gray let go of my hand and looked at Bernard boredly. I gripped Bernards arm because I feel like I'm gonna fall on the ground due to my shaking legs.

I saw Gray raised his eyebrows when he saw my hand on Bernard. He even smirked evilly before raising his dark eyes at me.

"So, Engineer. I am happy that you spare some time to come in the party. Are you with Architect Cia? It's been a while since I last saw her." Mr. Robert said

Gray grinned. "Cia is still in America but she'll come here soon since we have a project to make here in the country." Aniya.

Mr. Robert chuckled. "I actually heard it on the news. Congratulations on your upcoming project Engineer. I'm sure it will be a piece of cake for you." tawa ng matanda.

Bernard cleared his throat and stared at them smilingly. "Please excuse us Mr. Robert? Engr. Montecillo?. Christine wants to go in the bathroom. We'll have to leave for awhile." sambit ni Bernard.

Akmang aalis na kami ng biglang magsalita si Gray. "Why do you have to come with her Mr. De Castro? I'm sure your lady knows how to go in the bathroom all by herself. Right? It's inappropriate to see you two go together in an exclusive area." pagsisingit ni Gray.

I closed my eyes tightly and smile at Bernard. Bumulong na lang ako sakaniya na kaya ko na at pagkatapos ay walang lingong lingon akong tumungo sa banyo.

I took a deep breath and calm my beating heart. Gray looks handsome though. His built grow larger and I admit that he looks ravishing right now. I can also see that every woman in the party was looking at him seductively and I can't blame them because he is Gray. A well-known Engineer in the country.

I licked my lower lip and decided to come out in the bathroom. Uuwi na lang siguro ako dahil hindi na rin ako komportable sa party na to. Maybe, I'll just ask Bernard to take me home. I'm sure hindi naman ako tatanggihan non. Takot lang niya kay Thalia.

Lumabas na ko ng banyo at didiretso na sana sa mesa namin ng may tumawag sa pangalan ko. "Hera?" boses lalaking tawag.

My forehead creased. Tumingin ako sa aking likod at naguguluhang tinignan ang pamilyar na lalaki sa aking harapan.

"Excuse me? Who are you?" I asked confusedly.

The handsome guy chuckled. "Hindi mo na ko natatandaan? Nakakatampo naman?" nakanguso niyang sambit.

I shrugged. "I'm not playing with you Mr. I have to go now.. I'm sorry." masungit kong sagot at akmang aalis ng hawakan niya ang aking siko.

"Heto naman di mabiro. I'm Tristan, Kaibigan ako ni Gray. Business Ad. student and now owner of the hotels and resorts around Asia. Remember now?" Ngisi niya sakin.

Noong una ay naguguluhan pa ko sa sinabi niya hanggang sa manlaki ang mata ko ng tuluyan na nga siyang maalala. Siya yung lalaking niyayakap noong foundation day sa University dati at isa nga siya sa mga kilala kong kaibigan ni Gray noon. Damn. Bakit ata pinaglalapit na kami ng tadhana ni Gray. Hindi ko na to nagugustuhan. Kailangan ko na talagang umalis.

"S-sorry. Kailangan ko nang umalis.. pasensya na talaga Tristan." sambit ko at akmang tatakbo nang biglang tumambad si Gray sa aking harapan.

My mouth parted in shock when I saw him staring coldly at me.

"Gray. Nandyan ka na pala. Tumatakbo ex mo tol ayaw ata tayong makita." ngisi ni Tristan saka kumuha ng wine sa katabing mesa.

Gray emotionlessly looked at Tristan before leaving in front of me. Kumuha siya ng wine malapit sa mesa saka ako mapanuring tinignan.
