Isabelle’s Perspective

Damn it! Why does he have this effect on me? My body betrays me whenever he's close. “Luca, stop!” I moaned his name before I could even think about stopping myself. “Make me, baby,” he murmured against my skin, his warm breath sending shivers down my spine. His lips attacked my neck, kissing, sucking, leaving behind a burning trail. My body felt hot, my legs weak, and the wetness pooling between them made me want to take a cold shower immediately. I felt like a high school girl, completely overwhelmed by emotions I hadn't experienced in so long. Ryan never made me feel this way. I wished we had a strong connection, but that asshole cheated on me. Maybe deep down, I knew something was missing. A sharp gasp escaped my lips as Luca’s tongue flicked against my sensitive skin. His teeth grazed my neck before he sucked on it, making me tremble in his hold. He was making me lose control, and the worst part? I didn't even hate it. He looked unbelievably handsome, his sharp jawline and intense gaze making my stomach flutter. But why? Why was I feeling this way about him? My breathing was heavy when he finally pulled away, his lips curving into a smirk.

“Glad to know, little one, that I have this much effect on you.” Reality hit me like a slap, and anger quickly replaced the lust clouding my mind. I shoved him away, taking a deep breath. “Get away from me!” I yelled. “You motherfucker!” I had no idea what kind of black magic he was using on me, but I refused to let him control me like this. Luca chuckled darkly. “Izzy, Izzy… you love to swear. One day, I’ll see how you're going to swear when I make you scream my name.” “Shut up! Don't touch me without my permission!” I snapped, glaring at him. “If you touch me again, I’m going to leave."

His smirk didn’t waver. Instead, he raised an eyebrow. “And how exactly are you going to leave?” I opened my mouth but hesitated. “Well, umm… I will! Just don't touch me!” Luca took a slow step toward me, his presence overpowering. “Keep quiet, babe, or I’ll make you. Try to escape, and I’ll show you exactly what I can do.” Why did his damn threats turn me on? What the hell was wrong with me? “Izzy, get ready. I’m taking you out for dinner,” he said casually. “I want answers. I’m not going anywhere,” I crossed my arms stubbornly. Luca sighed, tilting his head. “I’ll answer everything at dinner. Now get ready. Otherwise, I’ll take you just like this.” His eyes shamelessly travelled down my body, making me shift uncomfortably. “Although, you’re not looking bad. In fact, you look hot.” I rolled my eyes, stepping away from him. “Just go take a shower in another room. I want to use this one.” He smirked. “We could shower together, kitten. You know… to save water.”

“Seriously, Lucas? You have a whole damn penthouse! Just use another bathroom.” “Okay, okay, I’m going.” He turned to leave, then suddenly came closer and placed a quick peck on my cheek before walking out. I stared at the door, my heart pounding. Oh, gosh. What’s happening to me? A sexy kidnapper who’s obsessed with me? God, have mercy on me. I needed a shower. After ten minutes, I stepped out, wrapping a towel around myself before heading to the closet. I pulled out a pair of dark blue jeans and a black top. After putting them on, I slipped into my boots, dried my hair, and tied it into a ponytail. I didn’t like makeup much—my natural beauty was enough. A simple lip gloss was all I needed. Luca still wasn’t back. My eyes darted to the door, and to my surprise, it was unlocked. Did he forget to lock it? A rush of excitement filled me. This time, I was definitely escaping. I tiptoed out, my heart pounding with adrenaline. The hallway was empty. I hurried downstairs, searching for anything useful. Nothing.

Then I spotted the kitchen. I quickly opened a drawer, my hands fumbling through it. My fingers wrapped around a small, sharp pocket knife. Perfect. I slipped it into my pocket, just as I heard a voice behind me. “What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be in your room? Where’s Luca?” I turned quickly, adjusting my top as I faced a woman. She was watching me suspiciously. “Well, umm… I was hungry, so I thought I’d find something to eat. Luca is still showering.” “Hmm.” Her eyes scanned me as if she didn’t believe me. “Go to your room. I’ll have someone bring you food,” she said coldly. Bitch. I muttered under my breath and turned on my heel, heading back upstairs. As soon as I entered my room, Luca was already there, dressed for dinner. My breath hitched. Damn. He looked absolutely delicious. A white shirt, a tie, and a black vest. His sleeves were rolled up, revealing his strong forearms and the veins running down them. Why the hell did he have to look this good?
