Chapter 26

Lyrics's POV

Four of my bodyguards are temporarily suspended for a week. I just got home from MSU. I have to discuss something with my guards.

I went to Rock's room to disturb their rest.

"I am turning 18 three weeks from now. I don't want a grand birthday. Since you are not busy at all, help me plan my party."

"What? I have no idea how to do that." Gio always complains.

I stayed in their room until I fell asleep planning.

I woke up with a soft shake on my arm. "Sir? Wake up." What a sweet voice!

It's Hunter. I almost jump when I saw his face close to mine.
"Gio said that you are sleeping here for two hours already." Hunter fixed my hair. "Were you tired of planning your birthday? Do you need my help?" Why is he talking a lot?

I am resting in his old bed. It is still vacant up to now.

"I am good. I am not going to make it big." I rubbed my eyes.

Hunter is still wearing his uniform. He looks so manly with it.

"Dinner with me?"

"I can't." Dad will be really mad at me if I skip dinner with them.

"Uhm, I will not be around later and probably tomorrow." Hunter said.

You are pissing me off.

"Feel free. It's not like we are boyfriends. I don't care." I grabbed my tablet. I better go back to the third floor.

"Will you be okay?"

Wow! Wow! He is acting like I can't live a normal life without him. Excuse me.

"You can extend if you want to," I dared him.

"I can't extend more than that. I cannot leave my duty that long."

So you can leave me for long but not your duty? I can now see the real you.

"My uncle is going back from Canada and I want to meet my cousin." He said.

"Did I ask? Just leave. Who cares?!"
I am annoyed now.

"I'll call you. Okay?"

"Don't call me at all." I stormed out of the room.

"Sir, do you want 18 layered cake or just 3 is enough?" Gio stopped me from going out of the house.

"Make it 180 layers!" I yelled. Everything is annoying me. Ugh. How can he leave me for two days? I will really ignore him for real. I swear this is the last.

"180 layers. Copy, sir." Gio answered.

I will bury that Hunter inside that cake.

I only have class until noon today. I wasn't able to sleep well last night. He said he will call. He lied as usual.

"Sir."

He is near the barracks.

"Whaaaatttt!"

Oh, it's Hunter. He is holding a little kid in his hand.

What is the meaning of this?

"This is kate." Hunter said. "She is my cousin. I brought her here."

I ignored the kid. So you are the reason why Hunter has to leave me for days, huh? I don't like you then.

"Hunter said he will let me meet his beautiful love. I wonder where she is?"  This kid said.
