Leni frowned upon seeing her phone screen lit up. It's already 12nn and she's currently having lunch at her office. She picked it up. "Hmm?"

"Galit ka naman agad." Bongbong chuckled. "Usually hello ang unang sinasabi pag sumasagot ng calls."

She frowned. "Ano nga?! Kumakain ako buti nga sinagot ko 'tong tawag mo!"

"Sorry na po boss. Di ka naman mabiro. I just called you kasi namimiss na kita."

"Hay naku, Bongbong! I'm gonna end this call n—"

"Teka! Teka! Sandali naman. Gusto ko lang maglambing eh."

"Ayaw ko."

"Babe naman."

"Huwag mo nga akong tawaging babe. Ano ka high school?"

"Eh anong gusto mo? Love? Hon? Cutiepie? Baby ko? Honeybunch? Pumpkin?"

"Nakakatawa yan?"

He laughed. He knew she's already pissed off. "Sorry na. Di ka naman mabiro, future Mrs. Marcos."

She almost choked after hearing him.

He laughed again. "Okay so we'll stick with 'babe' and 'future Mrs. Marcos' okay?"

"Ewan ko sayo." She rolled her eyes. "Sige na at kumakain ako."

"Last na, uuwi ako dyan mamaya mga 7pm ako makakarating."

"Uuwi? Paano ka naman uuwi eh wala ka namang bahay dito?"

"Edi uuwi sa'yo! Yieeee! Nakakakilig talaga 'ko!" He was laughing at his own antics.

She bit her lower lip to prevent herself from laughing or smiling too hard. She just shook her head. "Dami mong sinasabi!"

He laughed. "I'll see you later. Order ka nung kare-kare, babe. Favorite ko na yun, pls."

"Oo na, boss! Copy po!" She said, sarcastically.

He chuckled. "Okay. Bye! I love you, Misis ko!"

She just shook her head as she smiled.

Call ended.

"Ma'am? Excuse me po. May bisita po kayo." Apple knocked at Leni's door.

Leni frowned. "Sino? Wait la—"

"Good afternoon po! Ito po ba yung office ni Atty. Leni?"

Leni beamed. "Boss!"

It was Kit.

Leni almost ran to hug him. "Oh my god! I miss you! Hindi ka nagsabi na dadalaw ka!"

Kit chuckled. "Surprise nga."

Leni chuckled. "Naglunch ka na ba?"

Kit nodded. "Pero dessert hindi pa. Libre mo 'ko!"
