"How are you? How's training?" Bongbong asked Tricia over the phone. He's back in Manila after two days in Cam. Sur.
"Okay naman po, Tito. Medyo kinakabahan lang po kasi baka di ko matapos yung marathon." Tricia shared.
Bongbong knew Tricia got injured weeks ago during training. "Kaya mo yan, ano ka ba! We know that you've worked hard for this kaya huwag kang mag-isip na hindi mo kaya. You got this!"
"Thank you, Tito! Super na appreciate ko po yung support nyo kahit ang layo nyo po at ang busy nyo." Tricia said.
"Wala yun. This is the least thing I can do para kahit papano lumakas ang loob mo. Pero pupunta naman dyan mom mo to watch diba? Okay yun!" Bongbong brought up. Leni told him that she's gonna fly to the US for New York Marathon.
"Ay hindi na po sya tutuloy. Sabi ko po huwag na syang tumuloy kasi sobrang busy po sa Naga ngayon at kakabagyo lang."
"Ha? Kahit na. This is your first time to join the New York Marathon, sayang naman kung hindi mo papatuluyin ang mommy mo."
"Okay lang po, Tito. Gets ko naman po yung sitwasyon ni mama ngayon eh. Tsaka alam ko din po na pagod na sya, ayaw ko naman po dumagdag pa sa iniisip nya. Besides, kasama ko naman po si Stephen tapos manunuod din po yung best friend ni Jill tsaka yung mga friends ko."
"Are you sure? Kasi kung hindi makakapunta ang mommy, ako nalang pupunta dyan. Mag cacancel ako ng ilang events tapos balik din ako agad dito."
"Ay naku! Huwag na po tito! Huwag na po! Okay lang po talaga, promise!"
"Okay, sige. Pero you tell me if nagbago ang isip mo, okay? Pwede akong pumunta dyan. Magsabi ka lang."
"Opo. Thank you po!"

Bongbong laughed the moment he saw Leni's replies. He just finished reading his briefers for tomorrow and decided to message her. He knew she doesn't like it when he's sending her some random cheesy lines, but he's enjoying every dry reaction from her. Then, he remembered the thing about Tricia so he decided to call her instead.
Gladly, she picked up after three rings. "Hmm?"
"Hello, babe? Nakausap ko si Patrice yesterday, hindi ka daw pupunta sa US?"
"Hindi na daw sabi nya eh. Pero pinag-iisipan ko pa rin. Sayang naman kasi eh. Tsaka nauna naman 'tong event nya bago bumagyo."
"Yeah, yeah. Kung ako tatanungin mo, pumunta ka pa rin. Kawawa naman si Patrice kung di ka pupunta. Na-injured pa naman sya. She might need you there."
"Yun nga din iniisip ko eh. Natatakot ako baka di nya matapos yung marathon dahil sa injury nya. At least nandun ako for her if that happens. What do you think?"
