October 2024
Bongbong became President.
A lot has happened ever since that electoral protest which he lost. It really took a toll on him and his family especially his mom. Ever since then, he worked his best to to reach his goal—to be the President just like his dad.
And he did.
After 40 years, they are back in power and he just became the most powerful man in the land. He has all the resources, the social status, the money, everything. Well, except for marriage and romantic relationships. He didn't have those and he planned on keeping it that way.
Nothing really changed aside from his schedule and huge responsibilities. He's still the same Bongbong who go to the clubs and drink and party. The same Bongbong who picks a random girl to sleep with.
"Mr. President! Welcome to Sorsogon!" Chiz, the current SP shook hands with Bongbong.
"Thank you! Thank you!" Bongbong beamed. He just landed in Sorsogon for the Kasanggayahan Festival. He heard a lot of good things about the province, so he's excited to be there.
He was then lead to his car.
When his convoy arrived the sports arena, he was shocked to see many people waiting for his arrival. Today, they're gonna finally open the sports arena.
"Magandang araw po!" He smiled and waved to everyone the moment he stepped out of the car.
"Sir, kasama po pala si VP Leni sa mga naghihintay sainyo sa may function hall para i-welcome kayo." Chiz informed him.
"What?! I—I mean, yeah. Absolutely. Let's go!" He cleared his throat and tried to compose himself as they made their way to the hall.
When he got there, for some reason, his eyes automatically searched for Leni. He figured that there's a lot of people in there waiting for him. He saw some familiar faces running for the senate, then Bam Aquino,
Then, there she was.
Leni Robredo.
His feet moved quickly towards her, adrenaline pumping through his chest. He wanted to see her up close, to touch her, and talk to her.
But he stopped.
He saw Leni frowned a bit.
He got his handkerchief from his pocket and wiped his sweaty hands.
Then, Bam shook his hand which he barely even remembered because he never look at him as his eyes was already looking at her.
"Ma'am." He beamed as he shook Leni's hands.
"Mr. President! Welcome to Sorsogon!" She smiled. That cheeky smile. The exact same smile he saw in 2012.
He just smiled at her, looking at her like no one else is watching. Like nobody's waiting for him outside that hall.
He gripped her hand a bit.
But, she withdrew it slowly, carefully, making his heart sank.
He came back to reality and greeted Camille Villar whom he didn't noticed before he shook hands with Leni. He wanted to look back at Leni, and so he did, but she was busy welcoming other people too.
"Marhay na aldaw po saindo gabos!" Bongbong greeted. He's now reached the stage for his speech. "Bago ako magsimula, hindi ba muna kayo sisilong? Sobrang init naman ng posisyon nyo dyan!"
Everyone cheered. People were standing in front of the stage, in the middle of the arena with scorching heat.
He chuckled. "Ang init kasi. Kawawa naman yung mga makikinis at magaganda nyong kutis bikolana."
