II. Mayor Leni

Leni landed in MNL at 4am (Thursday). She's with Raffy, Ray-an, and Babet for some meetings and speaking engagements. She's also set to spend the weekend with Bongbong after not seeing each other for almost a month.

They were picked up by Aika and Jillian from the airport. After breakfast, Leni immediately got ready for her series of appointments. She met with Mayor Joy of QC where she was warmly welcomed.

"Congratulations, Mayor!" Mayor Joy hugged Leni.

"Congratulations din sa'yo, Mayor!" Leni chuckled. They were long time friends.

Mayor Joy walked with Leni up until the conference room. They were accompanied by Raffy, Kit, and Mayor Joy's staff.

"Nagkita na kayo ni Bongbong?" Kit whispered. As Leni's best friend, he's updated with everything that's been happening to her.

Leni shook her head, "Hindi pa."

Kit frowned. "Huh? Akala ko aalis kayo?"

Leni frowned. "Pano mo naman nalaman?"

Kit shrugged, "Kwento ni Bongbong nung isang araw. Magkasama kami eh."

"Wow! Buti pa kayo nagkikita!" Leni subtly rolled her eyes. "Mas nakakadate mo pa yung boyfriend ko kesa saakin."

"Kasalanan ko bang tumakbo kang mayor sainyo?!" He hissed then sat on the chair across her.

She just smirked.

Friday. 4am.

Aika opened the door after hearing the door bell. She knew it's Bongbong already. "Hi, Tito! Good morning po!"

Bongbong smiled and hugged Aika, "Morning! Where's your mom?"

"Ay nasa taas pa po pero tapos na po sya maligo." Aika answered. "Nag breakfast na po kayo Tito?"

Bongbong nodded, "Yeah. I'm okay na."

Aika nodded.

"Puntahan ko lang mama mo sa taas." Bongbong said.

"Sige po." Aika nodded.

Bongbong went upstairs and knocked on Leni's room. Her heard her answered so he turned the knob and went inside.

"Hi!" Leni beamed the moment she realized that it was Bongbong.

He smiled lovingly and hugged her tight. "I miss you!"

She cupped his face and kissed his lips. "I miss you too!"

He blushed and kissed her again. "Tapusin mo na yan para makaalis na tayo."

She giggled and withdraw from the hug. She continued packing some essentials and turned off the lights and the AC inside her room. They went down together and bid goodbye to Aika who's eating breakfast.

When they reached the parking area, she was confused for a moment. She frowned. "You're driving?"

She doesn't see his usual motorcade.

He smirked, "Yes." He made her sat shotgun then went to the driver seat.

"Are you sure?" She clarified after he started the engine. "Alam ba 'to ng mga security mo?"

"Oo nga. Relax ka lang dyan! I-enjoy natin yung privacy natin kahit ngayong weekend lang." He chuckled. "Matagal na 'kong nagpaalam sa head ng PSG na payagan ako."

She chuckled, shaking her head. "At pumayag naman sila?"

He shrugged. "Well, ngayon lang naman ako nagpaalam ng ganito tsaka hindi naman ako pasaway sa kanila."

She laughed. "Sorry ha! Ako na ang pasaway sa PSG!"

He laughed. They both knew how stubborn she is, giving lots of nightmares to her security when she was VP. She would ride the bus going to Naga, walked around public places, hike mountains, ride a small boat for almost 10 hours to reach a community, riding ziplines and cable cars, standing in a moving van, and other stuff that would compromise her security.

He laughed. "Hala! Baka maisip ng mga security na bad influence ka saakin!"

She laughed.

"Kasi come to think of it, nung start ng term ko three years ago, never naman ako naging pasaway sa kanila. Lahat ng protocol sinunod ko. Tapos ngayon na girlfriend na kita, nagagawa ko nang tumakas or lumabag sa protocol." He explained, laughing.

"Wow ha!" She exclaimed, laughing hard as well.

Today, they're driving to Zambales to spend the weekend.

He held her hand and rested it on her thigh. They both knew that they're gonna love this 4-hour drive and the privacy that comes with it.
